China's "China" plan, its technical objectives are:
(1) Develop a large number of high-performance and low-cost sensing systems suitable for various purposes. These include various sensing systems, measuring systems, remote sensing and telemetry systems, etc.
(2) Intelligent system. That is, various expert systems, computer systems and corresponding database systems and knowledge base systems.
(3) Control and display system. Various automation systems, such as industrial automation system, office automation system, home automation system, weapon automatic control system, medical automatic monitoring system, etc.
(4) building an advanced national communication network covering the whole country, which can integrate the above-mentioned large number of information technology systems or networks into an organic whole.
Experts also pointed out that the principles of realizing the above plan should be: start early and work hard for a long time; Grasp the key points and give consideration to the rest; Micro-publishing, macro command; Proceed from reality and take a long-term view; Research and construction, coordinated promotion; Integration of defense and civilian technologies, internal and external cooperation.
Entrusted by China Academy of Sciences, the research team led by Ye Pei Da and Chen Junliang, academicians of Chinese Academy of Sciences and famous telecom experts, put forward a two-step strategic plan more pertinently after investigation and study. The first step is to initially build the backbone network of the national high-speed information network by 2000; The second step is to basically build a national high-speed information network covering the whole country by 2020. Most nodes adopt advanced switching systems, and high-speed transmission can be carried out in most areas.
From the backward communication state to the information age, China is facing great historical opportunities and challenges, and I believe we will succeed.
