I want to ask, how can I get a layman's card?

You don't have to take an exam, but you have to hold a ceremony to convert to Buddhism, Dharma and monks, and then give you a conversion certificate, also called a layman.

Go to the temple to register first, and the master will give you a dharma name and pay 20 yuan. Then in the mornings of March, June and September every month, a conversion ceremony will be held in the temple for about half an hour. After the ceremony, you will get a conversion certificate stamped with steel seal.

The time may vary from place to place, but you have to register first, and there will be a master to correct the name of Buddhism and set the time.
