Traveling around the flying house: the adventure of grandpa and his house.

Travels around the Flying House is the tenth animated film and the first 3D film directed by Pete Docter and produced by Pixar Animation Studio.

It tells the story of an old man and his wife who agreed to travel to a waterfall in remote South America, but failed to make it because of the hurry of life. It was not until the government forced the demolition of his old house that he decided to fly to the waterfall with the house and take risks with the little fat Russell he met.

Cane Frederiskson, a 78-year-old balloon salesman, was obsessed with adventure stories since he was a child and once hoped to be a great explorer. When he was a child, he met Ellie, a girl with the same dream. They grew up together and married until they were old. Carl and his wife Ellie share a common desire-to explore the lost paradise falls in South America. However, the death of his wife made Carl, who was not good at words, eccentric and more reticent. At this time, the government plans to rebuild the place where Carl lives. Carl doesn't want to leave the house with good memories of his wife. Just when the government wanted to send him to a nursing home, he decided to realize his and his wife's lifelong wish. However, he doesn't intend to go alone, but with his house, because Carl tied thousands of colorful hydrogen balloons to the roof.

When the tent covering the balloons was lifted, all the colorful balloons took off, and Carl's house was razed and flew into the air together. Just as he was enjoying this great journey alone, suddenly someone knocked at the door. As a result, he found his biggest "nightmare" outside the house-an overly optimistic 8-year-old boy Russell, who claimed to be a "wilderness explorer". But it was too late, and Carl had to take the little boy to start this thrilling adventure.
