In order to effectively control the spread of Bursaphelenchus xylophilus and protect the forest resources and ecological security in our region, according to the provisions of laws and regulations such as the Regulations on the Prevention and Control of Forest Pests and Diseases in the State Council, the Regulations on the Prevention and Control of Forest Pests and Diseases in Jiangxi Province, and the Measures for the Prevention and Control of Bursaphelenchus xylophilus in Jiangxi Province, and the research of the prevention and control headquarters of major exotic biological disasters such as Bursaphelenchus xylophilus in Rongjiang New District of Ganzhou, it is decided to carry out pest prevention and control work in the whole region. Five, the safe use of infected wood is designated by qualified processing enterprises designated by the competent forestry authorities, and other wood processing enterprises and individuals may not illegally purchase, process and use infected wood.

Six, it is forbidden for any unit or individual to use tree seedlings with Bursaphelenchus xylophilus disease for seedling raising or afforestation.

Seven, it is forbidden for any unit or individual to transport pine seedlings, wood and its products from pine wood nematode epidemic areas. Infected wood products that have not been disinfected shall not be transported out of this area.

Eight, in violation of this notice, by the District Agricultural Office to coordinate the relevant departments of the city in strict accordance with the relevant laws and regulations of the state to investigate and deal with. If an act that causes a major epidemic constitutes a criminal offence, it will be handed over to judicial organs for criminal responsibility according to law.
