Thousands of miles to repair books just for the wall,

What's wrong with making him three feet?

The Great Wall of Wan Li still exists today.

Translation:

Send a letter thousands of miles, just because of the wall.

What does it matter if he is three feet?

The Great Wall of Wan Li is still here today.

But I will never see Qin Shihuang again.

Zhang Ying (1637— 1708) is a native of Tongcheng, Anhui province, whose ancestral home is in Jiangxi. Minister of Qing dynasty, father of Zhang. In the sixth year of Kangxi, he chose Jishi Shu, a college student in Wenhua Hall and a minister of rites.

He has been the master book of compiling national history, unifying local chronicles, deepening books, political codes and pacifying the desert. In the forty-seventh year of Kangxi, posthumous title died.
