Development of Synbiotics Banks

Guo Rong, the chief financial officer, and Stanley Ho, the later manager of Synbiotics Bank, contributed to the development of Synbiotics Bank. The Sino-Japanese War of 1894 (1894) broke out, and the situation in Northeast China was chaotic and the banking business was damaged. Guo Rong and Stanley Ho have a good eye for talents. They appointed Shen Shukai (born in Shencun, Qixian County, 18) as the manager of Yingkou Branch in Northeast China. Shen Li turned the tide, saved Yingkou Bank from danger, revived its business, and then established itself in Yingkou, competing with Japanese and Russian businessmen in Northeast China and seizing the opportunity to develop abroad.

In the 22nd year of Guangxu (1896), Synbiotics Bank set up a branch in Anton (Dandong), and then set up an agency in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and Sinuiju, which was controlled by Russian forces, to start international exchange business. In the 26th year of Guangxu (1900), Zhou Xinyi Society was renamed Heshengyuan Branch Village. In the 30th year of Guangxu (1904), a war broke out between Japan and Russia. The following year, Russia was defeated and forced to give up its privileges in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and re-divide its sphere of influence with Japan in the northeast. Synbiotics Bank strives for survival and development in the cracks, and has set up branches in Siping, Harbin, Qiqihar, Heihe and other places, and then developed to Japan. In the thirty-third year of Guangxu (1907), Synbiotics Kobe Branch was established in Kobe, Japan.
