Fengxi Expressway, located in the northeast of Chongqing, is the expressway connecting fengjie county and Wuxi County and the last section of Chongqing's "four-hour Chongqing" traffic circle.

Fengxi Expressway starts from Fengjie-Yunyang Expressway Fengjie East Interchange, passes through Silent Dam along Meixi River, passes through Yangjiawan, Xiangjiaping, Wang Jiaping, Hongyan, Shangshuang, fenghuang town and other major control points, and ends in Mo Dou City, Wuxi County, connecting the planned Wuxi with Zhenping Expressway in Shaanxi Province.
The total length of Fengxi Expressway is about 46.4 kilometers, and the whole line is fully enclosed and interconnected. There is a Huang Shang interchange, 20 tunnels and 35 bridges, with a bridge-tunnel ratio of 76%. It adopts two-way four lanes and has a design speed of 80 kilometers per hour. Fengxi Expressway has two toll stations, namely Wuxi Toll Station and yangqiao Dam Toll Station.

After the completion of Fengxi Expressway, it will not only end the history of Wuxi County's closed expressway, but also shorten the journey from Chongqing to Wuxi from more than 6 hours to 4 hours.
