Main functions:

Responsible for the overall planning and coordinated management of all kinds of education at all levels in the city, jointly with relevant departments to implement the standards for setting up schools directly under the central government, guide schools directly under the central government to do a good job in planning, construction, education and teaching reform, and be responsible for the statistics, analysis and release of education information in the city.
2, responsible for the overall management of the department of education funds, participate in the formulation of education funds, education funding, student funding, education infrastructure investment policies, responsible for the statistics of the city's education funds.
3, responsible for the reform and development of basic education. Responsible for promoting the balanced development of compulsory education and promoting educational equity, guiding and coordinating compulsory education and preschool education, and guiding ordinary high school education and special education. Formulate basic requirements and teaching documents for basic education, guide and supervise the subscription of books in primary and secondary schools and the management of books entering schools, and fully implement quality education.
