Brief introduction of Wuhan Academy of Educational Sciences

On February 27th, 2000, with the approval of Wuhan Organizing Committee, on the basis of merging the former Wuhan Teaching Research Office, Wuhan Institute of Educational Sciences and Wuhan Audio-visual Education Museum, Wuhan Institute of Educational Sciences was established as a deputy bureau-level institution. As a teaching research institution directly under the Municipal Education Bureau and the administrative department in charge of education research in the whole city, Wuhan Academy of Educational Sciences has the following main tasks: to carry out "four major studies", namely, educational macro-decision research, teaching research, educational theory research and modern educational technology research; Do a good job of "two services", that is, provide consulting services for educational administrative decision-making and school management, and serve to improve the teaching quality of primary and secondary schools (kindergartens), secondary vocational schools and adult education; Strengthen the planning and management of educational scientific research. Its goal is to make our institute a research center, an education and teaching consulting service center, an education and training center, an education and scientific research management planning center in Wuhan, a "staff officer" of the municipal education decision-making department, and a national first-class local education and scientific research institution. Wuhan Academy of Educational Sciences consists of seven departments: teaching research room, educational science research room, vocational and adult education research room, modern educational technology center, educational resource center, hospital office and comprehensive business department. * * * Existing staff 132, professional and technical personnel 104, including 8 special-grade teachers, 74 deputy senior titles and above, and 25 municipal-level academic leaders.
