1. Chaohu is located in the south of Hefei, the provincial capital, and is a county-level city managed by Hefei. After the founding of the Republic of China, the Beijing government initially implemented provincial and county management. Today, Dangshan and Xiaoxian in Anhui Province still belong to Jiangsu Province, and the remaining 60 counties still belong to Anhui Province.
