Since its establishment, the Chamber of Commerce has always adhered to the goal of "building a platform, promoting exchanges, seeking development and increasing benefits", strengthening economic ties between Fujian and Shanghai, promoting economic cooperation and development between the two places, guiding the vast number of Fujian businessmen in Shanghai to seize opportunities, innovate and develop, and strengthen their strength, actively responding to the call of Fujian's "return project" and making contributions to the construction of the economic zone on the west side of the Taiwan Strait. The Chamber of Commerce organizes entrepreneurs to participate in the "6- 18" project achievement fair and the "9-8" investment fair every year to encourage enterprises in Shanghai to invest in the economic construction of their hometown during their stay in Shanghai. According to incomplete statistics, Fujian's accumulated investment in recent years has reached more than 30 billion yuan.
While actively encouraging enterprises in Shanghai to develop themselves, the Chamber of Commerce does not forget to promote the development of philanthropy in their hometown. The Chamber of Commerce donates 200,000 yuan every year to help primary schools in poverty-stricken areas in their hometown rebuild and expand their teaching buildings. Up to now, the renovation and expansion projects of seven primary schools, including Zhouning Chunchi Central Primary School, Zhenghe Nianshan Primary School, Pinghe Anhou Central Primary School, Liancheng Xinquan Central Primary School, Xianyou Kengbei Primary School, Taining Zhukou Central Primary School and Yongtai Dongmen Primary School, have been completed and named "Shangshan Building", which has been highly praised by the local government and the masses and specially delivered for use.
On August 20 10, the Chamber of Commerce moved into Sanshantang with a century-old Fujian culture, which further promoted the spirit of Fujian businessmen and Fujian culture and enhanced the influence and cohesion of the Chamber of Commerce.
