Transformers can be divided into distribution transformers, power transformers, totally enclosed transformers, combined transformers, dry-type transformers, oil-immersed transformers, single-phase transformers, electric furnace transformers, rectifier transformers, reactors, anti-interference transformers, lightning protection transformers, box-type transformers, corner transformers, high-current transformers, excitation transformers and so on.
Transformer is the basic equipment of power transmission and distribution, which is widely used in industry, agriculture, transportation, urban communities and other fields. There are about170,000 transformers in operation in China, with a total capacity of about1654.38+0 billion KVA.
Transformer loss accounts for about 40% of transmission and distribution power loss, which has great energy saving potential. In order to speed up the popularization and application of high-efficiency and energy-saving transformers, improve the utilization efficiency of energy resources, and promote green, low-carbon and high-quality development, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the General Administration of Market Supervision and the National Energy Administration jointly formulated the Transformer Energy Efficiency Improvement Plan (202 1-2023).
