Insurance informatization working Committee

The informatization construction of social insurance is the basic work of social insurance management and handling services. Without the support of perfect information system, it is impossible to achieve the goal of recording, serving and ensuring the life of the insured. Therefore, People's Republic of China (PRC) Social Insurance Law provides principles for the construction of social insurance information system.

First, the country has established a national unified personal social security number, which provides a legal basis for the production and distribution of national unified and functionally compatible social security cards.

Second, the national social insurance information system is built by the people's governments at or above the county level in accordance with the principle of unified national planning and graded responsibility.
