What problem can the mayor's hotline 12345 solve?

The State Council recently issued the "Guiding Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Further Optimizing the Local Government's Convenience Hotline", in which the acceptance scope of the hotline 12345 is defined, that is, it accepts all kinds of non-urgent needs of enterprises and the masses, including consultation, help-seeking, complaints, reports and suggestions in the fields of economic regulation, market supervision, social management, public services and ecological environment protection.

Do not accept matters that must be solved through litigation, arbitration, discipline inspection and supervision, administrative reconsideration, government information disclosure and other procedures, matters that have entered the petition channel, matters involving state secrets, commercial secrets, personal privacy and violations of social public order and good customs.

The appeal accepted by the mayor's hotline, except for general consultation questions, is handled by functional departments. Sometimes it may not be as expected by the public, and all problems can be solved properly and satisfactorily soon.

Some difficult problems, especially those left over from history, need a process. In addition, when answering people's demands, it was found that some citizens often called 12345 but failed to reflect substantive problems, or repeatedly reflected problems beyond the hotline's acceptance scope, which actually occupied public resources and prolonged the waiting time of others. Here, I also hope that the citizens' friends can clearly and objectively reflect the real and effective demands, so that the hotline can serve the citizens more efficiently.
