What kind of unit is the Poverty Alleviation Office?

It is a deliberative and coordinating body with the nature of participating in public affairs. The Leading Group for Poverty Alleviation and Development of the State Council is the deliberation and coordination body of the State Council. Founded in May 1986 and 16, it was then called the Leading Group for Economic Development in Poverty-stricken Areas in the State Council, and was renamed as 1993 on February 28th.

All poverty alleviation funds to the province shall be arranged and used by the provincial people's government in a unified way, and the relevant departments shall make overall planning and implementation.

On March 20 17, with the approval of the central authorities, the 12th round of patrol of the 18th Central Committee will conduct a special patrol on the leading group for poverty alleviation and development of the State Council. According to the arrangement, the Central Inspection Team will work in the Leading Group for Poverty Alleviation and Development of the State Council for about 2 months, and set up a special duty phone and a special post office box.
