Changsha Xiao Yi information consultation

Sun Jian's debut is not too late. 187, was appointed as Changsha satrap by the court. He was even named Hou Wucheng for his meritorious service in pacifying Changsha thief area.

190, compared with the eighteen-route princes who participated in the anti-Dong Zhuo (the real history was thirteen-route princes), the administrative level of Sun Jian was similar to that of most people. At that time, Yuan Shao was the satrap of Bohai Sea, Qiao Huan was the satrap of Dongjun, Bao Xin was the satrap of Jibei, Zhang Miao was the satrap, Juck Zhang was the satrap of Guangling, Wang Kuang was the satrap of Hanoi, and Cao Cao was once the satrap of Jinan. Only the post-general Yuan Shu (commander of the war zone), Jizhou Muhanfu, Yanzhou secretariat Liu Dai and Yuzhou secretariat Kong Zhou have a slightly higher level. Strictly speaking, however, there were only twelve governors who opposed Dong Zhuo, and Sun Jian was not counted separately in Zi and San Guo Zhi, but Yuan Shu's men.

Everyone is equal. Why is Sun Jian the only one who works for Yuan Shu, and everyone else is independent?

Arguably, Sun Jian should be the last person to work for others.

First of all, he is the most able to recruit elite soldiers among the 18-route governors. Following Zhu Pingding's Yellow Scarf Uprising in Wancheng, and following Zhang Wen's crusade against Apollo, Bianzhang and Han Sui, they all made great achievements. Even Dong Zhuo himself said, "The Kwantung Army has suffered many defeats and wars, and everyone is afraid of loneliness and helpless. However, Sun Jian is small and stupid, and he is good at employing people. As soon as he speaks, he will know and avoid it. " Facts have also proved that Sun Jian has defeated Lu Bu and Dong Zhuo (but also lost to Xu Rong) and killed Hua Xiong, Dong Zhuo's valiant soldier.

Secondly, when Sun Jian went north from Changsha to join the anti-Dong Allied Forces, he first drove Wang Rui, the secretariat of Jingzhou, who once despised himself, to commit suicide, and then killed Zhang Zi, the satrap of Nanyang who refused to provide rations. According to Zi Jian, "(Sun) Zeng Jian went to Nanyang with tens of thousands of people". There seems to be no need to entrust yourself to others on such a scale of strength.

But it happened that after Sun Jian arrived in Luyang, he chose to join hands with Yuan Shu. Say "close", in fact, Sun Jian became Yuan Shu's men. Yuan Shu's return to Sun Jian is "Table (Sun) is determined to break the general Lu and lead the secretariat of Yuzhou". The title of Yuzhou secretariat given by Yuan Shu is a blank check. Prior to this, Kong Zhou was the secretariat of Yuzhou. After the death of Kong Zhou, Yuan Shao scrambled to appoint Zhou Ang as the secretariat of Yuzhou.

Sun Jian's choice to join Yuan Shu may be due to economic reasons. In all kinds of history books, I have repeatedly seen Sun Jian asking for firewood everywhere. "Zi Tongzhi Jian" wrote that Sun Jian saw Jingzhou secretariat of Wang Rui and said that "the soldiers have been working hard for a long time and want to make the monarch directly explore the news"; In Nanyang, Sun Jian asked Zhang Zi, the prefect of Nanyang, for rations. There is also the most classic story of Yuan Shu jealous of Sun Jian's failure to distribute rations.

Sun Jian's background is not high, so it is difficult to get the support of aristocratic families, so it can't get the economic and political support needed to develop its strength. Therefore, although Sun Jian served as Changsha satrap and killed Jingzhou secretariat and Nanyang satrap, it was difficult to really control and use Jingzhou, so he had to live in Yuan Shu temporarily. On the contrary, Liu Biao, the new Jingzhou secretariat sent by Dong Zhuo, quickly controlled the situation in Jingzhou by using the local chaebol Chua and Kuai.

Sun Jian surrendered to Yuan Shu instead of running Jingzhou by himself, which delayed the development of slips for at least five years. It was not until 195 that Sun Ce marched into Jiangdong with Yuan Shu's soldiers, and the Sun Shi family began their own hegemony. And Sun Jian was finally sent by Yuan Shu to attack Huang Zu, and was ambushed by Huang Zu, who paid the price of his life for his second place.
