Joseph vissarrionovich stalin, formerly known as dzhugashvili, was a Georgian, a politician of the former Soviet Union, a Soviet General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, chairman of the Soviet Council of Ministers (Soviet Prime Minister) and a Soviet Grand Marshal. He was the supreme leader of the Soviet Union who had been in power for the longest time (1924- 1953). It had a far-reaching impact on the Soviet Union and the world in the 20th century.

Stalin helped Lenin lead the October Revolution. After Lenin's death, he became the supreme leader of the Soviet Union. During his tenure, he put forward the idea of "building socialism in one country first", abandoned Lenin's new economic policy and went all out to carry out socialist industrialization and agricultural collectivization, making the Soviet Union a heavy industry and military power, but at the same time it also led to the great famine in Ukraine. He also established a cult of personality and launched the "great cleansing" movement. The massacre and oppression of exiled ethnic minorities caused hundreds of thousands of deaths. In World War II, he led the Soviet Red Army, defeated the Axis countries together with the allied forces, and won the Soviet Patriotic War. After the war, he fostered the Eastern Group and fought against NATO led by the United States in the Cold War. 1953 died of cerebral hemorrhage in Moscow on March 5th at the age of 74. Author of the complete works of Stalin.
