In the 20th year of Taihe in the Northern Wei Dynasty (AD 496), Emperor Xiaoyi built a temple for the master of Buddhism and Zen, and a temple for the Buddha on Shaoshi Mountain. Saddharma came here to repair the inner wall of the temple, establish meditation and rebuild it many times in the past dynasties. The inheritance of Zen Buddhism is based on Buddhism. There is an ancestral temple in the northwest of Shaolin Temple, which was built in the Song Dynasty. The stone pillar bears the inscription of the seventh year of Song Xuanhe (1 125). Zen is a sect of Buddhism in China. It is advocated that the epiphany method should "see the nature and become a Buddha" Since the founder of Buddhism, it refers to the human heart and is not limited to practice. It is also called Buddhism because it takes investigation as its main purpose and thoroughly sees the origin of the heart.

According to legend, the founder of Dharma was Hui Ke, Monk Can and Daoxin, and was divided into Nanhui Neng and North Shen Xiu by Hongren, the fifth ancestor, who was called "Southern Talents in North America".

Based on "meditation and meditation", Shen Xiu, a northern Sect, gradually practiced Zen and Bodhi. So it's called "gradual enlightenment". Master Nanzong Huineng said, "That is, the heart is the Buddha!" "Point directly at people's hearts and regard nature as Buddha!" In order to return. If you don't insist on "meditation" and "observation", you will become a Buddha! So it's called "epiphany".

"Meditation" mentioned by Shen Xiu, a master of Shibei School, is the second kind of practice. The magic method of northern Sect prevails in the north, so it is recorded in the Six Ancestors' Tanjing that "there is a great cloud in the capital: those who have no meditation have no liberation."

Master Huineng of Nanzong is the most taboo to learn Buddhism. He is obsessed with a promising method similar to "meditation". "Six Ancestors Tanjing" also records the cloud: "Only talk about seeing sex, regardless of meditation, liberation! Because it is the second method, it is not Buddhism.

Buddhism is the only way. "Also once said" often doing nothing, what's the good? "Master Nanzong Huineng was preached by the Buddha's heart, enlightened and didn't hold all laws, so he became a Buddha regardless of time. (From the preface of the Tanjing of the Sixth Ancestor, it is the product of gradual progress)

According to legend, China Zen was created by the founder of Dharma, and Zongmen "directed at people's hearts and turned them into buddhas!" People have passed, and the face of the dharma circle is defined as meditation for nine years, so they realize the Tao, but there is no biography or historical record. Only the word "nine years" was recorded.

His Zen interest often leads people to realize Tao in the form of questions and answers.

The spirit of Zen:

Judging from the connotation, structure and core of Zen ideology, the tone of Zen is based on the theory of mind and nature, and it is a cultural ideal to get rid of troubles and pursue life consciousness and spiritual realm through the practice of mind and nature. The essence of Zen's theory of mind and culture is: nature-immanence-transcendence.

Zen absorbed the concept of "nature" of Taoism in China to interpret the natural state of life and human self-nature. Taoism defines nature as the essence and nature of all things, not artificial, natural, so real.

Zen advocates inner transcendence. What is the specific connotation of this transcendental consciousness? We think it includes transcending objects, transcending methods and transcending results. Here, we focus on transcending the object and the result.

In order to pursue liberation and achieve Buddhism and Taoism, Zen has designed a set of plans to dispel the tension, contradictions and obstacles in people's hearts and transcend binary opposition. Man is a part of nature and an independent entity separated from nature. The yearning for the same with nature is eternal and infinite, and the yearning for the same with nature is the deepest, most fundamental and strongest desire of human heart.
