Dear judging teacher:
Hello! I am glad to have the opportunity to participate in this thesis defense. According to the requirements, I wrote two papers, one is "A Case Report of Examination Anxiety Counseling for a Returned College Entrance Examination Student" and the other is "Personal Growth Analysis Report". Next, I will make a simple statement on these two articles. As for the case report, I choose the case of psychological counseling for students who repeat the college entrance examination, because there are more than 1000 students who repeat the college entrance examination every year in our school. Because they failed in the college entrance examination, they look forward to the success of the college entrance examination more than this year's college entrance examination students, so they show a higher level of test anxiety. Students' long-term anxiety about exams will not only affect their academic performance, but also endanger their physical and mental health, so I chose this topic. In the process of consultation, I have mastered the basic situation of the helper from his personal statement, classmates' reflection and my observation. In this case, the helper Li's main problem is that in the face of the upcoming college entrance examination, he has developed test anxiety, which is mainly manifested in his inattention in class for more than a month, frequent insomnia and declining grades. He is very nervous and distressed at the thought of the coming college entrance examination. According to the symptoms, combined with the results of psychological test, it is finally diagnosed as a general psychological problem. The main causes of psychological problems of help seekers are social and psychological reasons. Social reasons: education from family and pressure from people around; Psychological reasons: mainly the negative impact of the applicant's previous failure in the college entrance examination on psychology and his own misconceptions. The external psychological problems of help seekers include nervousness, fear of exams, inattention, insomnia and so on. However, the internal reasons are high self-demand, wrong cognition of exams and other factors. In view of this client's situation, I used reasonable emotional therapy for consultation, changed his cognition by changing his unreasonable beliefs, and guided him to use relaxation skills and positive self-suggestion, so as to eliminate his bad emotions and behaviors, improve his ability to cope with exam anxiety, and finally achieve the goal of overcoming exam anxiety. The consultation process is divided into three stages, once a week, 50 minutes each time, * * * four times. For the first time, I mainly collected the detailed information of the clients, established a good consultation relationship with the clients, and completed the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), with a standard score of 65, suggesting moderate anxiety. In the second and third consultation, the causes of test anxiety were discussed with the help seekers from biological, social and psychological aspects, so that the help seekers could understand their bad cognitive patterns, learn relaxation skills and make positive self-suggestion, and establish a new cognitive model. The fourth consultation is mainly the consolidation and conclusion stage. After four times of counseling, the symptoms of the help-seekers have improved obviously, and they can concentrate on listening in class, no longer suffer from insomnia, no longer nervous and afraid of exams.
In my personal growth report, it is mainly divided into two parts, one is the growth process, and the other is my professional behavior analysis. I was born in an intellectual family, and my parents are teachers. The warmth of my family and relatively good economic conditions made my childhood full of happiness and joy, and also cultivated my kind quality of optimism and helpfulness. In the process of growing up, the "repetition incident" when I went to school with my father in the city made me suffer the first setback in my life, and also made me deeply feel the importance of "persistence" in the face of unfavorable environment to successfully do a good job. The biggest regret in my life is that I didn't go to high school in my life. After graduating from junior high school, I found a job in a vocational secondary school in the local county. Fortunately, during the teacher's further study, I met the first person who changed my fate and taught us "pedagogy". Under his guidance, I clearly realized my own shortcomings and shallow thoughts, and began to think about how to go in my future life. After graduating from technical secondary school, I was successfully admitted to Yantai Staff University with excellent results. After graduating from college, I became a professional teacher and started my teaching career. At work, I have taught statistics, public relations, etiquette, clothing structure drawing, clothing materials, marketing and other courses. I have served as the head teacher, the head of the professional department, the deputy director of the student affairs office, and the secretary of the Youth League Committee. Every time I change my teaching tasks and posts, I fail to be a trustworthy and respected student.
My first contact with psychological counseling was in the "National Training Meeting for Key Teachers of Mental Health Education" held in the summer of 2006. As the deputy secretary of the Youth League Committee of our school and the head of the moral education class, I participated in this training. At the end of the meeting, Xin Li, a psychological teacher of Qingdao Economic Vocational School, took the opportunity of speaking freely to introduce the situation of mental health education and psychological counseling in the school. Her novel teaching method and remarkable consulting effect aroused my great interest and made me deeply feel that the management of students in vocational schools cannot be separated from mental health education. With the consent of the school leaders, I signed up for the training of psychological counselors in June 2007. After nearly half a year's study and training, I obtained the third-level professional qualification certificate of psychological counselors. In September 2008, the school set up a psychological counseling office, and arranged for me to be the director of the psychological counseling office, together with two other teachers, to be responsible for the psychological counseling of students. "Give someone a rose and leave a lingering fragrance in your hand" is a vivid portrayal of psychological counselors. After more than two years' experience in psychological counseling for students, I have accumulated some successful experiences in psychological counseling. My ability to deal with problems is getting stronger and stronger, my personality is more open-minded, my interpersonal relationship is more harmonious, my personal psychological quality and mental health level are constantly improving, and my family life has also undergone great changes, mainly in dealing with the relationship between husband and wife and the education of my children, which has benefited me a lot and strengthened my confidence and determination to become a higher-level psychological counselor. Because of my professional characteristics and personal ability, I am good at psychological counseling and development counseling for teenagers. In the future career, I will study and work harder to make myself develop better in this field. I know that to be an excellent psychological counselor is not only a long way to go, but also full of difficulties, especially in the constantly updated psychological theory and consulting technology. However, I believe I have the potential to be an excellent psychological counselor. I will go all the way according to the standard of an excellent psychological counselor, and strive to enrich and grow myself through continuous study and practice in order to realize my life ideal.
