The geographical position of eastern Jiangxi
East Jiangxi usually includes parts of Fuzhou, Yingtan and Shangrao. The terrain is dominated by hills, followed by plains. It belongs to subtropical humid monsoon climate zone, with pleasant climate, four distinct seasons, abundant sunshine and rainfall, and superior natural conditions. It is adjacent to Jianning County, Taining County, Guangze County and Shaowu City in Fujian Province in the east, Shicheng County and Ningdu County in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province in the south, and Yongfeng County, Xingan County and fengcheng city in Yichun City in the west. It is about 222 kilometers long from north to south and 169 kilometers wide from east to west. The total area of the city accounts for 20% of the total area of the province.
