Xuzhou Center for Disease Control and Prevention is a national institution established in April 2002 on the basis of the former Xuzhou Health and Epidemic Prevention Station, Health Education Institute and Dermatology Institute.
It is a professional organization that implements government control over major infectious diseases. Mainly responsible for the city's disease prevention and control, emergency treatment of public health emergencies, information management of epidemic situation and health-related factors, monitoring and control of health hazard factors, laboratory testing analysis and evaluation, health education and health promotion, technical guidance and training, and scientific and technological application research.
The experimental office building has 12 floors, including 1 GC, 4 GC, 2 HPLC, 1 GFAAS, 1 ion chromatograph, 2 AFS, 1 large capacity rotary evaporator and 1 protein imprinting instrument.
Instruments and equipment are being further equipped according to the unified standards of the Ministry of Health to better meet the needs of public health monitoring and technical services. A website of disease control information was established. Work closely with universities and colleges to become the MPH Master of Health teaching base of Nanjing Medical University and other universities; National Network Equipment Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Key Network Laboratory of Bacterial Molecular Biology of Ministry of Health.
