-Sensing technology This is the extension and expansion of human sensory organs, and the most obvious example is the bar code reader;
-Communication technology, which is the extension and expansion of human nervous system, undertakes the function of transmitting information;
-Computer technology This is the extension and expansion of the function of the human brain, which undertakes the function of processing information. Second, IT analysis In today's society, information technology is changing with each passing day, which is strongly promoting the development of social productive forces. First, with the rapid development of microelectronics technology, the computing power and cost performance of chips are constantly improved according to the law of geometric series, thus creating conditions for large-scale and multi-field digital information processing and exchange; Second, the rapid development of software technology has made chips and computer hardware intelligent, which has multiplied the functions and application scope of computer technology; Thirdly, driven by microelectronics, software and laser, communication technology has accelerated the transformation from analog to digital, from low speed to high speed, from single language media to multimedia; Fourthly, the mutual penetration and integration of computer, communication and media technology is pushing the development of communication and information technology to a brand-new stage.
Based on this network, new computer Internet applications such as e-commerce, distance education, remote diagnosis and treatment, e-government, mobile office and home office are constantly emerging and developing vigorously. Information technology is increasingly infiltrating into all fields of social production and life? IT will make the IT industry develop at a higher speed in the wave of digital revolution. The IT industry is generally divided into three aspects.
1. network
2. Software
3. Integrated circuits
If you want to enter the IT industry, you must first decide to enter one of these three aspects.
Three aspects of employment orientation:
1. integrated circuit direction, which is a very professional direction, requires job seekers to have strong professional knowledge, which can be supplemented by training, and needs to be well similar to the training of university education; The employment of such talents is very narrow, but if they are employed, the salary is very high (of course, it depends on the situation of the enterprise)
2. The software direction is wider than that of integrated circuit design. A good software engineer also needs a solid mathematical foundation. Regular training can make a person who has no software foundation become a software blue collar, but it still takes considerable work and study time to become a software designer. Most of these talents are employed by software companies;
3. Network direction, which is much wider than the first two. Through training, you may gradually become a network engineer from a person who doesn't understand network technology, because network technology is a more operational technology. Employment is also much wider, because informatization is a project of the whole society. Both the government and enterprises are engaged in informatization, and they need to find suitable talents in the network to operate, manage and maintain their own network systems.
But all walks of life need different network engineers.
What is a network engineer? The post system of enterprise informatization can be used for reference. Enterprises (or governments) need the following four kinds of people in the process of informatization:
1. Enterprise informatization supervisor: responsible for the decision-making of informatization construction objectives and schemes and the research of informatization construction direction;
2. Engineering technicians: responsible for the design and construction of information systems, including the construction of equipment, systems, databases and application systems;
3. Operation and maintenance personnel: responsible for the operation, maintenance, management and basic development of the information system;
4. Operators and application personnel: mainly use the information system for their own work.
In the process of enterprise informatization construction and operation, enterprises will outsource the construction process to professional IT companies, so there will be no IT system engineers in general enterprises, so IT can be said that IT system engineers are concentrated in professional IT companies; After the information system is completed, an enterprise will generally have a person or a group to be responsible for the operation, maintenance and management of the information system, which is necessary for the enterprise. Moreover, in terms of cost, the enterprise will recruit someone who knows something about network equipment, network system, database, network management, network security and basic network development to be responsible for its information system. Such people are generally called network managers. This kind of people's knowledge is horizontal and multifaceted, but they are not particularly professional. If an enterprise really encounters a very professional technical problem, IT will generally let the network manager consult a professional IT company with the problem.
So from this perspective, the employment of network engineers will be much larger than that of the other two types of engineers.
At present, there are many certification trainings or training certifications called network engineers in the society. How do we choose them? We can analyze and understand them through systematic network technology:
1. Network equipment technology, mainly involving network hardware construction, including routers, switches, office networks, wide area networks, etc. Representatives in this regard are Cisco and Nortel; ;
2. Network operating system, mainly involving system management and network management of operating system. The representative directions are WINDOWS 2000, UNIX, LINUX, etc.
3. Network database, mainly involving databases applied to the network, such as SQL and ORACLE.
4. Network security, we should not regard network security as the security of a pair of operating systems and application systems. In fact, there are security problems in all aspects of the network, and there is no better and more comprehensive certification in China.
5. Network management, involving comprehensive management, optimization, billing, etc. Local area network and wide area network, and there is no comprehensive certification;
6. Network application development, basic development and interactive development of enterprise websites, ASP and other technologies, etc.
These six aspects are all essential factors of enterprise informatization, so if you want to supplement your knowledge, you can supplement it from these six aspects. You have to make a positioning, whether to become a comprehensive person or a professional person. However, if you can lay a solid foundation in this respect, it will be more powerful to choose a direction in your work.
