Why do swallows like to settle down on the eaves?

1. Because swallows nest mainly for laying eggs and feeding young birds, the eaves are wide and flat, which meets the requirements of swallows nesting, and because cats and bigger birds can't get here, young swallows can live safely in the nest. I can fly until I grow up.

2. The eaves can shelter from the wind and rain, and there are swallow nests in many places such as rocks! We live in a residential area, so we will see more swallows nesting under the eaves! Bats also have the habit of living in cracks under the eaves! Some other birds are too big to live under the eaves!
