Second, the heating status quo
At present, the heating area of Nanxin University campus, including student dormitories and office buildings, has reached 330,000 square meters, and the total length of heating pipes is 20 kilometers. There are five energy stations in the whole school for technicians to detect the heating situation on campus, accurately observe the heating problems and make flexible adjustments at any time.
The heating time of Nanxinda is generally from mid-October to mid-March every year 165438+. After the National Day, all the pipes in the school will be flushed, and the faulty pipes will be inspected to clean up the rust or residue that may exist in the pipes. 165438+1At the beginning of October, a pressure maintaining experiment will be conducted to exhaust the pipeline, and the school operators will be on duty 24 hours a day.

The main campus of the school is located in Jiangbei New District, Nanjing, covering an area of more than 2,000 mu. Jinniu Lake Industry-Education Integration Park is located in Jinniu Lake New District of Tianchang City, adjacent to Liuhe District of Nanjing City. Wuxi Campus is located in Dong Xi New Town, Wuxi City. It has a joint training base of Binjiang College (now transformed into Wuxi College) and Nanxin University Wuxi graduate students.
In addition, there are university science parks and their cultural tourism parks in Jiangbei New District, Liuhe District and Yuhuatai District of Nanjing. At present, there are about 36,830 full-time students, including about 28,300 undergraduates, about 7,300 graduate students and about 1.230 international students.

The school has distinctive school-running characteristics, and atmospheric science has been selected as the national "world-class discipline" construction discipline, and has achieved excellent results in the latest discipline evaluation of the Ministry of Education.
Meteorology is a national key discipline. Nine disciplines, including earth science, engineering, computer science, environmental science and ecology, chemistry, agricultural science, material science, social science and mathematics, rank among the top 1‰ of ESI disciplines, among which earth science and computer science rank among the top 1‰ of ESI disciplines.
There are 7 first-class disciplines such as atmospheric science, environmental science and engineering, information and communication engineering, management science and engineering, mathematics, history of science and technology, computer science and technology, 25 first-class disciplines and 19 master's degree authorization points.
The school has Post-Doctoral Research Center of Atmospheric Science, Environmental Science and Engineering, Mathematics and Management Science and Engineering, and 80 undergraduate majors are distributed in 9 disciplines: science, engineering, literature, management, economics, law, agriculture, art and teaching.
The school currently has 24 professional colleges, as well as high-level colleges such as International Education College, Reading College (Sino-British cooperation), Waterford College (Sino-Irish cooperation), Wang Chang College (top-notch training), Longshan College (large-scale training), Lianzhou College (innovation and entrepreneurship), Applied Technology College and Continuing Education College.
