He likes literature, loves reading European classical novels, and is precocious. 1940, Luo Guangbin, who was in the fourth grade of junior high school, fell in love with her classmate Mou Xuelian, and Luo Guangbin was extremely persistent. At this time, he is still under 15 years old. He was moved by the pure love described by Hungarian writer Yuli Baki in Spring in Autumn and longed for sincere feelings. Simple Luo Guangbin thought that his family loved him very much and would certainly understand him, but after his family knew about his love relationship with the merchant's daughter, they resolutely opposed it, not because his puppy love affected his studies and growth, nor because of Mou Xuelian's personality and talent. The only reason is that the door is wrong. Mother said categorically: "Our children can't be the son-in-law of businessmen, just because they want to scold our poor family education regardless of other people's gossip." This conservative feudal family was very strict and autocratic to Luo Guangbin who pursued freedom. In order to sever the relationship between Luo Guangbin and Mou Xuelian, his father interrupted Luo Guangbin's studies in Hongya, took him back to Chengdu, and closely monitored all his actions. From 1940 to 1943, Luo Guangbin lived in a closed life at home for three years. Three years' imprisonment did not lock his passion for life, but his yearning for freedom deepened his dissatisfaction with his family and resentment against decay. Luo Guangbin gradually saw the evil of feudal family and society, and saw the arbitrary control and oppression of young people by feudal forces. The great resistance in love touched the rebellious factors in Luo Guangbin's character, and he longed to break free from the barriers. In pursuit of freedom and equality, he fought with his family and even fought with his father.

As the contradiction between Luo Guangbin and his family became more and more serious, but he couldn't find a way to regain his freedom, he was in great pain when he met his fellow villager Ma Zhi Tu (head of the underground party organization of the State The National SouthWest Associated University). Ma Shitu sympathized with his experience, supported his rebellious spirit, and sincerely told him: "Love is the right of young people." With the help of Ma Shitu, Luo Guangbin has a deeper understanding of the conflict between personal love and family feelings. He realized that there was only one way to pursue individual liberation and gain due rights: to leave the suffocating family, breathe fresh air and find new life coordinates.

1944 At the beginning of this year, Luo Guangbin followed Ma Zhitu to study in The National SouthWest Associated University High School. Here, influenced by revolutionary thoughts and trained by the "December 1st" student movement, he realized that "blood is the seed of hatred", which influenced his world outlook and values, and made him go out of the narrow world of pursuing personal liberation and freedom of marriage and devote himself to the cause of people's liberation and national liberation. Studying and living in the High School Attached to The National SouthWest Associated University is the turning point of Luo Guangbin's life. He got rid of the shackles of his family, embarked on the revolutionary road, and found the ideal and belief to fight for it all his life.
