In order to achieve the school development goals, we should start from the following aspects:

The training of "famous teachers" includes three levels: branch school, district and city. Strive for the next few years, all disciplines have school-level and district-level academic leaders or backbones, and one-third of disciplines should have municipal-level teaching backbones to achieve zero breakthrough in municipal-level academic leaders.

Therefore, in the next few years, the quality of schools should be based on Weiyang, jump out of Weiyang and dare to compete with advanced schools directly under the municipal government. The teaching of junior high school subjects should establish solid advantages in the region and form more and more advantageous subjects. The dominant disciplines in the department should strive to reach or exceed the average level of the municipal government, shorten the gap with advanced schools, and keep the indexes of the senior high school entrance examination first in the whole region. High school education should be based on comprehensively improving the examination pass rate, and strive to achieve a college entrance examination rate of more than 90%, and the undergraduate online rate will enter the top 10 ordinary middle schools in the city. It can be predicted that in the next few years, with the further flow of high-quality students from high schools to key middle schools and the continuous promotion and deepening of the new curriculum reform, the overall quality of students from ordinary middle schools will become worse and worse, and it will become more and more difficult to transport undergraduate talents to colleges and universities through the cultural college entrance examination. In view of this, high school education in the next few years should be based on the reality of "third-rate" students, with the basic goal of laying a solid foundation and cultivating qualified high school graduates. Boldly reform the college entrance examination, adjust the direction, and seek a breakthrough in artistic characteristics, thus forming characteristics. The art education in our school, especially the art college entrance examination, has accumulated some experience and made remarkable achievements due to the attempts and explorations in previous years. Therefore, in the next three years, on the basis of earnestly summing up the past experience, we will formulate and improve the implementation plan of art education in our school, actively publicize the achievements made in the past, expand the influence, and strive to add classes with artistic characteristics, so as to form a scale of running a school and form a virtuous circle of art education. At the same time, strive for art education characteristic schools at or above the municipal level. With the acceleration of urban construction in Yangzhou, the construction of large residential quarters around the school (Oilfield New Village, Yangzhou Tianxia, Shugang Garden, etc. ), the sharp increase of migrant workers and the steady improvement of school education and teaching quality, we predict that during the Eleventh Five-Year Plan period, the junior high school scale of our school will reach 8 tracks in 24 classes, and the senior high school scale will reach 2400 students in 24 classes.
Compared with the three-star evaluation index system of ordinary high schools in Jiangsu Province, the hardware conditions of our school are far from the standards of educational modernization.

According to the three-star standard, the average campus area is not less than 23 square meters, and it needs 55,200 square meters (83 mu); The school covers an area of 54,754 square meters (82 mu), of which 13.5 mu is leased land. Because the playground is on the north side of Xihu Road, there are security risks every day. If the overall planning is considered, the living area, teaching area and sports area are integrated, and the playground needs to be moved south, and it is necessary to continue to requisition about 30 mu of land on the south and west sides of the school. The actual situation is: in the south and west of the school, the planning department has reserved 36.8 mu of school planning land.
(2) School building area
According to the three-star standard, the average construction area of the school (excluding student dormitories) is not less than 13 square meters, and it needs 3 1200 square meters. School 12397 square meters (excluding student dormitory), still short of 18803 square meters. In order to establish a three-star high school in Jiangsu Province, in addition to the existing hardware conditions, the school urgently needs to build 1 teaching building (including office building) (5000m), library (2000m), gymnasium (3000m) which can accommodate 2500 people, and art building (3000m) (including stepped classroom and multifunctional lecture hall (500m). In addition, we should also invest special funds to purchase special instruments and equipment for teaching auxiliary rooms, renovate campus greening and build campus network (Banbantong). Only by improving the hardware construction of the school as soon as possible, optimizing the resources for running a school and improving the quality of education and teaching can we truly make the school a school that the people are satisfied with, win the good reputation of students, parents and the people, and meet the people's demand for high-quality high school education resources.
