Development history
In 2000, with the approval of the county government of Fengning Manchu Autonomous County Committee, the Manchu Museum was built. With the strong support of provincial, municipal and county leaders, the Manchu Museum in Fengning Manchu Autonomous County started construction in June 2000 and was completed on September 30, 2002, with a building area of 4,695 square meters, an exhibition hall area of 3,295 square meters, a warehouse area of 300 square meters, an office area of 900 square meters and a multifunctional lecture hall area of 200 square meters. The building has a total length of 73.3 meters, a width of 12.3 meters and a height of 23 meters. Brick-concrete structure, five floors of the main building (six floors for local modeling). The overall style of the building highlights national characteristics, elegance and simplicity. The total cost of the museum project is 5286405.47 yuan.
Architectural composition
After the completion of Fengning Manchu Museum in 2003, after careful content design and form design, the Manchu Museum has seven exhibition halls: historical relics exhibition, Manchu folk custom exhibition, Guo Xiaochuan's life story exhibition, educated youth special exhibition, Fengning Teng's cloth paste exhibition, Fengning Manchu paper-cut art exhibition and Fengning fossil exhibition. At present, exhibitions have been completed, such as Hu Qi Ma Rong Guofeng-Fengning Historical and Cultural Relics Exhibition, history of manchu Banner Fengning-Fengning Manchu Folk Custom Exhibition, No Regret Years-Chengde Educated Youth Special Exhibition, Teng's Cloth Sticking Exhibition, Fengning Manchu Paper-cut Art Exhibition, and Guo Xiaochuan's Former Residence Life Story Exhibition. Nearly 2000 cultural relics were exhibited. To celebrate the 55th anniversary of the National Day, the China People's Political Consultative Conference Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition was held. The exhibitions such as "Electric Cup" anti-corruption painting and calligraphy exhibition, "Sanlu Cup" ten-person painting and calligraphy exhibition and "Excellent Photography Exhibition of Ecological Civilization Village in Chengde City" fully reflect the diversity of social functions of Manchu Museum and make better use of various forms such as literature and art to contribute to the development of national economy. Fengning Manchu Museum has a well-equipped cultural relics warehouse, a complete set of management systems and procedures for the reception, selection, storage, retrieval, verification, cancellation and statistics of cultural relics, and professional and technical personnel for the maintenance, preservation and restoration of cultural relics. Warehousing has embarked on a standardized, scientific and modern track. The security facilities of the museum are designed with closed-circuit monitoring, infrared alarm, voice control, shape control, monitoring and other systems according to the functions of the museum.
