China Zhongyuan International Engineering Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned enterprise of China Machinery Industry Group Corporation. It is a joint reorganization of Zhongyuan International Engineering Design and Research Institute, with engineering design as the leading factor, integrating planning consultation, engineering supervision, complete sets of equipment, project management and engineering contracting.
Founded in 1953, the core enterprise of the company is a national first-class engineering survey and design unit. In the new century, the company has been rated as one of the top 50 units in national survey and design, project contracting and project management for several years in succession, and as one of the top ten architectural design enterprises in China by the Regional Council of Asian Architects in 2005 and 2006.
China Zhongyuan International Engineering Company (formerly known as China Zhongyuan Xinghua Engineering Company) is a large state-owned engineering company with Zhongyuan International Engineering Design and Research Institute (formerly the Design and Research Institute of the Ministry of Machinery Industry) as the core, combined with China Machinery Industry Computer Application Technology Development Company and Machinery Industry Planning and Research Institute, based on engineering design and engineering management, led by engineering technology, and integrating design consultation, general contracting, project management, construction supervision and complete sets of equipment.
