At the end of July, 20xx, we held the "Shandong Computer Academic Annual Meeting" in Weihai. In order to have a good annual meeting, at the beginning of the year, we arranged for the directors to collect papers for the academic annual meeting. With the strong support of the directors, the work was very successful. Due to the personal control of the directors, this paper is not only large in collection, but also of high quality. In order to further improve the academic level of our province, we invited Academician Cai, the chief expert of intelligent robots in China, to give an academic report on the development status and prospects of intelligent robots. We also invited a world-famous cryptographer, who caused a sensation in the world by deciphering MD5 and SHA- 1. At present, he is a double-employed professor in Tsinghua University and Shandong University, a doctoral supervisor, and a special expert in Tsinghua University Yang Zhenning Research Center. Professor Wang Xiaoyun, a Changjiang scholar, gave an academic report on "Decrypting MD5 and SHA- 1". We also invited Professor Yang Xiaozong, a national 863 expert and an expert who participated in the design of Aerospace 5, to give an academic report on "Wearable Computing System". These three reports have been well received by the participating experts, pushing the annual academic conference to a new height. 2. We have completed the key scientific research project of the Provincial Association for Science and Technology "Research on the Present Situation and Development of Youth Information Technology Education in Shandong Province". The main task of this project is to cultivate students' interest and understanding of information technology, so that students can understand and master the basic knowledge and skills of information technology, and understand the profound influence of the development and application of information technology on human daily life and science and technology. Through information technology courses, students have the ability to obtain information, transmit information, process information and apply information; Educate students to correctly understand and understand the cultural, ethical and social issues related to information technology and use information technology responsibly; Cultivate students' good information literacy, support lifelong learning and cooperative learning by means of information technology, and lay the necessary foundation for studying, working and living in the information society. The smooth development of information technology education in primary and secondary schools is the need to implement the requirements of Comrade Deng Xiaoping's "three orientations"; It is the need to meet the international competition in 2 1 century and realize the modernization of education; It is an important measure to deepen the reform of basic education, comprehensively implement quality education, improve the quality of citizens and cultivate new talents. In order to complete the project, we have made an in-depth investigation and study on the present situation of information technology education in Shandong Province, and put forward some representative opinions and suggestions to reflect the present situation of information technology education in Shandong Province. However, due to the unbalanced development of computer education in primary and secondary schools, these views can only reflect the general situation in our province. Through the analysis of the existing problems, it has a certain guiding role in Shandong province's informatization development planning strategy.

We have reported the development of our team in the past year. This year, Shandong Shensi Electronic System Company, Shandong Economic and Trade Vocational College, Linyi Computer Association, Shandong binzhou university and other units have become new members of our society, and two professional committees for embedded systems and information technology infrastructure construction have been established one after another. At the plenary meeting of the board of directors, executive directors and directors were also elected and supplemented. 4. Strengthen the leadership of the Olympic Games, expand the influence of the Olympic Games and enhance the brand of the Olympic Games. As the golden signboard of our study, the Youth Informatics Olympic Competition has been going on for many years. Since last year, new breakthroughs have been made continuously. In the rematch of the National Youth Informatics Olympics (Shandong Division) held in June 5438+065438+ 10, 2004, 56 people in our province won the first prize in the senior high school group, that is, they were qualified to walk in the college entrance examination, ranking fourth compared with other provinces in China. More than 20 teachers in our province have obtained the first-class instructor certificate, which will be of great benefit to improve the level of the youth informatics Olympic competition in our province. At the end of July this year, Professor Liu Peiyu, deputy secretary-general of our society and the main organizer of Shandong Youth Informatics Olympic Competition, held the "Shandong Youth Informatics Olympic Summer Camp" in Qingdao, which attracted more than 300 students from the whole province.
The whole Youth Informatics Olympic Competition has played a positive role in promoting the popularization of information technology in our province, and our province has been at the forefront of information technology education for young people in China. We will make unremitting efforts to organize and promote the Olympic Games for a long time and make this activity better and better.
5. Carry out extensive academic exchanges. The Network and Information Security Committee of Shandong Computer Society held a seminar on metropolitan area network construction in Jinan and Changqing University Park on July 1 20xx. The meeting was presided over by Professor Bai Yang, vice chairman of Shandong Computer Society and vice director of Shandong Education Informatization Expert Committee, directors of Shandong University, Shandong Normal University, Shandong Institute of Light Industry, Shandong Art College, Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Shandong Jiaotong University Network Center, and the provincial education informatization expert Committee. In May this year, Professor Wang Haiyang, Vice Chairman of our Association, presided over the peer review meeting of the National Database Conference in Qingdao.
There is also a very lively and active activity in our computer society-the forum for young computer scientists (Jinan), which is YOSEF. Wang Yinglong, Vice President of the Society, and Meng and Xu Qun, Executive Directors, are the main organizers of this forum. They have a heated discussion about the latest development of computer technology every quarter. The forum is hosted by the rotating chairman every year, and this year it is hosted by Bai Yang. The rotating chairman better ensured the vitality and freshness of the forum and led the whole activity to be colorful. Looking back on the past and looking at the present, the work of the society is more active every year. This year, some achievements have been made in the work of the Society, which is inseparable from the support of the leaders of the Society Department of the Provincial Association for Science and Technology and the computer science and technology workers in the province. However, we are also clearly aware that there is still a certain gap between our work and the requirements of superior leaders. We have not done enough to serve the grassroots. Listen to the voices of member units and help them solve the difficulties and problems encountered in their work. We understand that there are many contents in the reform of the Institute's work, but the core point is to do a good job in serving grassroots member units. Only by doing a good job in the service of member units can the value of the society be reflected and the cohesion of the society be enhanced. In 20xx, the services provided by the Association for its members are mainly reflected in the following three aspects:
1. Make the Institute website rich in content, vivid in form and updated in time. Our website will collect the latest trends of scientific research, teaching and technical progress of member units, so that member units can know the situation of brother units by clicking our website. At the same time, we will also introduce the latest development of computer technology at home and abroad, and provide technical consultation and discussion and dialogue functions, so that our website will become a bridge for member units to communicate and exchange scientific research results.
