Cost engineers are divided into first-class cost engineers and second-class cost engineers. The application conditions are as follows:
First-class cost engineer registration conditions:
Anyone who abides by the Constitution, laws and regulations of People's Republic of China (PRC), has good professional quality and moral conduct, and meets one of the following conditions may apply for taking the first-class cost engineer professional qualification examination:
1, with a college degree in engineering cost (or higher vocational education), engaged in engineering cost and engineering management business for 4 years; College degree (or higher vocational education) in civil engineering, water conservancy, equipment manufacturing, transportation, electronic information, finance and trade, etc., and engaged in engineering cost and project management business for 5 years.
2. Obtain a bachelor's degree or degree in engineering management of engineering cost specialty and pass the professional evaluation (certification) of engineering education, and have been engaged in engineering cost and engineering management business for 3 years; Bachelor degree or degree in engineering, management or economics, and have been engaged in engineering cost and engineering management business for 4 years.
3. Obtain a master's degree or a second bachelor's degree in engineering, management and economics, and have been engaged in engineering cost and project management business for 2 years.
4. Have a doctorate in engineering, management and economics.
5. For those with corresponding academic qualifications or degrees in other majors, the project cost and project management years will increase accordingly 1 year.
Requirements of the second-level cost engineer:
(a) who abide by national laws and regulations, have good political, professional quality and moral conduct, engaged in project cost work and have one of the following conditions, you can apply to participate in the secondary cost engineer professional qualification examination:
1, with a college degree in engineering cost (or higher vocational education), engaged in engineering cost and engineering management business for 1 year;
College degree or higher vocational education in civil engineering, water conservancy, equipment manufacturing, transportation, electronic information, finance and trade, etc., and engaged in engineering cost and project management business for 2 years.
2. Bachelor degree or above in engineering cost; Bachelor degree or above in engineering, management and economics, and engaged in engineering cost and engineering management business for 1 year.
3, with other professional qualifications or degrees, engaged in project cost, project management business work experience increased 1 year.
(2) Exempted subjects
Have one of the following conditions, to participate in the two-level cost engineer exam can be exempted from basic subjects:
1, has obtained the qualification certificate of national construction engineering cost engineer;
2, has obtained the qualification certificate of highway engineering cost personnel (level B);
3. Undergraduate graduates majoring in engineering management and engineering cost who have been evaluated (certified) by professional education.
Those who apply for exemption from some subjects should provide corresponding materials when registering.
