In the war to suppress the peasant uprising, the great bureaucrats in the Eastern Han Dynasty strengthened their armed forces and became warlords on the separatist side. In order to expand their power, warlords scuffled, and the battle of Guandu (now northeast of Zhongmu, Henan Province) was the biggest war between Yuan Shao and Cao Cao, the two most powerful warlords in the north.
Yuan Shao was a native of runan county (now Shangshui, Henan). Yuanjia was big noble in the late Eastern Han Dynasty. From Yuan An, Yuan Shao's great-grandfather, four generations and five people all worked in Sangong, and their social status was very high. Sangong has the right to appoint its own officials and recommend others to be officials. Through this relationship, the Yuan family gathered a group of bureaucrats and had great political power. In the war with the great warlord Dong Zhuo, Yuan Shao captured Jizhou (now south-central Hebei, southern Shandong and northern Henan) with a large population and abundant food, and later defeated Gongsun Zan, another great warlord north of the Yellow River, and his strength increased to several hundred thousand, making him more powerful.
Cao Cao was born in a eunuch family, and his social status was not as good as that of Yuan Shao, who was born in a "four generations, three publics" family. However, he took part in the activities to suppress the Yellow Scarf Army and won Runan and Yingchuan counties. He personally led troops to Luoyang, welcomed Emperor Han Xian from the war into Xu County (now Xu Changdong, Henan Province) of Yingchuan County, and controlled it in his own hands. From then on, Cao Cao was politically in a favorable position of "relying on the emperor to make the princes" and gave orders to warlords everywhere in the name of the puppet emperor.
After Cao Cao established the capital in Xu County, Yuan Shao used the humble and humid Xu County as an excuse to ask Cao Cao to move the emperor to Juancheng (now Puxian East, Shandong Province) in order to control it nearby. Cao Cao naturally refused to agree. Yuan Shao saw that political means could not achieve his goal. Relying on their own military superiority, they decided to send an army south to attack Cao Cao.
However, when discussing this matter with military and political leaders, Yuan Shao's military supervision giant life warned him:
"We fought with Gongsun Zan for several years, and the people were very tired and poor, and there was not much savings in the warehouse, so we couldn't fight any more. The best way is to vigorously develop agricultural production, so that the people can recuperate, and on the other hand, send someone to report to Emperor Xian of Han about our victory over Gongsun Zan. If Cao Cao gets in the way, then announce to the world that Cao Cao obstructs us from respecting the emperor and isolates Cao Cao. Then he sent troops to Liyang and expanded his army to prepare for Henan, which made him stronger and harassed Cao Cao's territory again and again, making him restless. In this way, we can wait and work, and we can defeat Cao Cao. "
Guo Tu, the foreign minister, said disapprovingly, "It's as easy to attack Cao Cao with SHEN WOO of Yuan Gong. Why be so cautious? "
Jushou replied: "It is moral for the army to eradicate adultery and save people from danger. Cao Cao respected the emperor to rule the world, and we tried to send troops to attack him, which was tantamount to punishing the emperor. This goes against justice.
Moreover, the victory or defeat of the war depends not on whether there is a complete plan, but on the strength of the moment. Cao Cao's domestic decrees were smooth and his soldiers were excellent. He will never stick to one side like Gongsun Zan, waiting for us to attack. I'm really worried about Yuan Gong now, because I've given up my cautious strategy and gone to the nameless teacher! "Yuan Shao's other department heard from Shen Pei:" Last week, the king of Wu attacked Zhou Wang, which was also a minister's attack on the son of heaven, not unjust; What's more, he mobilized troops to attack Cao Cao. Why does he say he is a teacher? Today, Yuan Gong is so powerful that if we don't pacify the world in time and complete the great cause of reunification, we will suffer losses in the future. I believe that the military's strategy is to be stable, but it has not been adapted according to the situation. "
After the meeting, Guo Tu took advantage of this incident and slandered Ju Mou behind Yuan Shao's back, saying, "Ju Mou is in charge of internal and external affairs and enjoys high prestige in the three armed forces. If this situation continues, I am worried that Yuan Gong will try to control him. " Yuan Shao listened to Guo Tu's words, divided the three armies under Ju Shou's command into three viceroy, and ordered Ju Shou, Guo Tu and Chunyu Qiong to divide the armies, thus weakening Ju Shou's military strength.
Yuan Shao finally attacked Cao Cao at the instigation of Guo Tu, Shen Pei and others.
In February 200, Yuan Shao personally led100000 soldiers from Jizhou to Liyang (located in the north of the Yellow River, now northeast of Xun County, Henan Province) as the front-line headquarters. In order to make the army cross the Yellow River smoothly, he sent his most trusted general, Yan Liang, to cross the river and win the White Horse (now east of hua county, Henan Province) that confronted Liyang across the river. When Prince Charming Liu Yan saw Yuan Shao's army crossing the river, he quickly closed the gate and sent a swift horse to see Cao Cao.
Cao Cao received an urgent report from Baima, so he didn't have time for a meeting to discuss it. He took Zhang Liao, Guan Yu and other generals to the north to meet them. Guan Yu is a general of Liu Bei. How can he serve Cao Cao? It turned out that Guan Yu was surrounded by heaped-up mountains, and Liu Bei did not know whether to live or die. In order to protect Mrs. Liu Bei, he gave up the breakthrough and became a surrender of Cao Cao. Cao Cao cherished Guan Yu's martial arts. In order to buy off Guan Yu, Cao Cao even gave Guan Yu the red hare captured by Lu Bu. Guan Yu said, "My uncle and I made an oath to help the Han family. As long as I make meritorious military service, repay Cao Gong's kindness and know my uncle's whereabouts, I will still return to him. " How Guan Yu later returned to Liu Bei, that is another story, not to mention it for the time being.
However, if Cao Cao's forces are limited, wouldn't it be like throwing eggs at a stone and fighting Yuan Shao to the death? Because of this, Cao Cao restrained Cao Cao: Cao Cao led his army westward to Yanjin (now north of Yanjin, Henan Province), lured Yuan Jun's main force westward, and then marched eastward to capture Yan Liang. According to the plan, Cao Cao led his troops to Yanjin, as if crossing the river from there to the north. Yuan Jun was cheated, and his main force marched westward along the north bank of the Yellow River, leaving Yan Liang, who was besieged by white horses, alone in the south of the Yellow River.
The wall of Baima City was so thick that Yan Liang couldn't attack it, so he surrounded the city and tried to trap the soldiers and civilians in the city. It was a sunny day, and he hid under the umbrella of the "canopy" used by the general, reading art books leisurely. The soldiers also sat on the ground in twos and threes, basking in the sun, one by one showing the appearance of leisure and laziness. The sentry reported that there was a group of people coming up from the west, only a dozen miles away from here. Just when everyone was puzzled, suddenly a fiery fast horse rushed over, and the general immediately waved the dragon crescent moon blade and chopped at Yan Liang. Yan Liang also wanted to ask who it would be according to the rules, but it was a flash of knife light and blood spray, and his head was different. Cut Yan Liang's head, and panic pushed Yuan Jun back into the array. The general who beheaded Yan Liang was Guan Yu. When Zhang Liao saw that Guan Yu had won, he led his troops into the city, and Ada also fought out of the city. Yuan Jun lost his commander and was caught between two sides. Only a few people fled back to the north of the Yellow River. After the battle, Cao Cao led his troops to Guandu (now northeast of zhongmou county, Henan) along the river.
Retreat.
When Yuan Shao heard that Yan Liang had been killed, Jun had retreated to Guandu and decided to cross the river with a great army himself, hoping to swallow Cao Cao in one gulp. Counselor Ju Shou advised him: "Now we need to calmly evaluate the development trend of the war. At present, the army is still stationed on the north bank of Hebei, and an army can be sent to attack Guandu on the Henan side. If Guandu is captured and firmly established, it is not too late for the army to cross the river again; If you rush to cross the river now, in case of an accident, there may be the danger of annihilation of the whole army. " The words of the giant hand made Yuan Shao even more angry. His face was livid and he said, "Give orders to cross the river quickly! Quickly order to cross the river! " When Yuan Jun crossed the Yellow River, Ju Shou sighed and said, "Yellow River, Yellow River, do you think we can still cross the north and return?" In a rage, Jushou immediately asked to resign and return to China. Yuan Shao didn't let him go, saying that he wanted him to see with his own eyes how he defeated Cao Cao.
Yuan Shao crossed the Yellow River and sent Wen Chou after Cao Cao. Wen Chou, a famous northern soldier, once begged with Yan. They were good friends. This time, he trotted after him One is meritorious service, the other is revenge for Yan Liang.
Not far south of Yanjin, Yuan Jun's vanguard troops caught up with Cao Jun. At this time, Cao Cao ordered to stop retreating, camped at the foot of Nanshan, and sent people to the observation tower to observe Yuan Jun. At first, the observation tower reported: "About 500 or 600 Yuan Jun cavalry came." After a while, he reported: "The enemy is riding more and more, and there are too many infantry to count." Cao Cao ordered: "Don't report again." Then he ordered the cavalry to put their horses to rest. At this time, the trench withdrawn from the white horse is still moving slowly on the road.
Worried that the enemy was too numerous to resist, the generals proposed to enter the camp with their troops and the trench. Yu Xun understood Cao Cao's intention and said to them, "The Prime Minister did this to lure the enemy into the bait. At that time, the troops hid and left the trench on the road. " Cao Cao nodded with a knowing smile.
However, the troops led by Wen Chou are getting closer and closer, and the shouts and ShaSheng are clearly audible. Cao Cao's generals, still holding the scepter to solve their urgent needs, urged Cao Cao to order his horse to mount and fight. Cao Cao said quietly:
"Not yet." In a short time, Yuan Jun's cavalry swarmed in, only to see Jun's munitions scattered all over the floor, scrambling to grab the carbines underground one by one, and the formation was in chaos. At this time, Cao Cao ordered: "Attack!" So, more than 500 cavalry jumped over the sword array and bravely rushed to Yuan Jun ... Like Yan Liang, Wen Chou didn't know where the Baishan soldiers were killed, so he was beheaded with a knife. In the battles of Baima and Yanjin, Yuan Jun lost in succession and lost two generals, but he still had an advantage in number. Cao Cao decided to continue to retreat as planned, and lured Yuan Jun's main force south to Guandu, far away from its rear, and then looked for opportunities to defeat him.
Seeing that there must be a secret for Cao Jun to retreat to the invincible position, Ju Shou once again pointed out to Yuan Shao: "Although our army has a large number, its combat effectiveness is not as good as that of Cao Jun ... The enemy's strength and food are insufficient, which is the biggest weakness. We should take advantage of its weakness, don't rush to fight, and try our best to consume his strength ... "Yuan Shao still didn't listen and continued to lead the army forward.
In August of 200 AD, after Yuan Jun advanced into Guandu, he built a chariot out of sand, winding for dozens of miles from east to west, confronting Cao Cao's camp.
Jushou is right. June is conducive to a rapid war. First he sent his troops to fight, fought a battle and failed.
From then on, stick to the camp, deep ditch and high base, and never come out again.
Yuan Shao watched the other side hold the camp, but he couldn't get past it. He ordered the soldiers to pile up a dirt mountain outside Cao Cao's barracks and build a high platform on it. The soldiers took to the high platform and shot arrows at Cao Ying. Cao Bing hurriedly covered himself with a shield or shield. They could only walk carefully under the shield when they came and went in the barracks. Lombardi's men watched from the high platform and smiled happily.
In order to deal with Yuan Jun's high-altitude archery, Cao Cao repeatedly called his ministers to discuss the matter. A few days later, the embedded mechanic in the army finally made a stone delivery car: there is a mechanism on the car, and the pulling mechanism can fly stones weighing more than ten kilograms. This kind of car, also known as the thunderbolt car, was called the "cannon car" by later generations because of the loud sound of stones. Thunder car is really responsible. Shot out of the stone actually beat Yuan Jun soldiers out of the water on the dirt mountain opposite, and never dared to stand on the high platform and shoot arrows at Cao Cao at will again.
As soon as Yuan Shao saw that he could not use the platform of heaped-up mountains, he asked his advisers to find another way. After discussion, the counselors put forward a plan: "It is better to attack secretly, dig tunnels and attack from underground than to attack openly!" After listening to this, Yuan Shao thought it was a good idea to dig a tunnel: people could sneak into Cao Ying from the tunnel and take him by surprise. So he ordered the soldiers to take turns digging holes and tunnels.
With so many people, Cao Ying is very close. Yuan Jun's every move has long been seen by jun. They reported to Cao Cao that the enemy was digging a tunnel under the dirt mountain. Cao Cao immediately ordered the soldiers to dig a long, deep and wide trench in front of the barracks and dig a small river to fill the river. As long as the tunnel in Yuan Jun is dug into a trench, water will flood into the tunnel, which undermines Yuan Shao's strategy. In this way, the two sides are still deadlocked.
Although Yuan Shao could not win in the long-term confrontation between the two armies, Cao Cao was in a dilemma. In the Central Plains, people were trapped in collecting taxes, and uprisings kept happening. Runan county is the hometown of Yuan Shao, and Yuan Jia's close partisans and students are all over the county. Most of them are armed. At this point, they took the opportunity to fight Cao Cao and support Yuan Shao from the rear. Lombardi also asked Liu Bei, who had been the satrap of Yuzhou, to lead troops to Runa again and again to unite against Cao forces and harass the rear of Cao Jun. In addition, Lombardi repeatedly sent small troops to destroy Cao Jun's food supply line. All these give Cao Cao a great threat. To this end, Cao Cao wrote a letter to Xun You who stayed in Xudu, intending to return to Xudu and stick to it. Xun You wrote back and said:
Now is the critical moment to decide the outcome of the war. We are outnumbered. If we retreat, Yuan Jun will definitely pursue victory and the war will get out of control. Yuan Shao looks powerful on the surface, but he is not terrible. When our strength is very different, keeping the enemy there for half a year shows that the enemy has not done much. At present, although our army is difficult to supply, it can still maintain food and clothing. As long as we use the correct strategy, find the enemy's weakness, surprise him and give him a fatal blow, victory will surely come.
Xun You's analysis persuaded Cao Cao, who decided to deal with Yuan Shao in Guandu. Send troops to drive away Liu Bei, suppress local resistance and stabilize the rear. The two armies are at loggerheads, and whether the military food can be continuously supplied is the decisive factor. Besides using armed transportation, Cao Cao has been paying attention to the grain transportation in Yuan Jun.
Just then, Shi Huan, the general of Huang Xu, caught a spy in Yuan Jun and took them to the Huang Xu camp. After asking, I learned that Han Meng, the general of Yuan Shaopai, escorted thousands of grain wagons from Jizhou to the ancient city (now Yanjin, Henan Province) dozens of miles north of Guandu, and would arrive sooner or later. Huang Xu told the news to Cao Cao. Yu Xun said, "Han Meng is foolhardy and looks down on others. If he leads thousands of cavalry to attack halfway, he must be unprepared. When the grain was burned, Yuan Jun was bound to panic.
After Cao Cao's hearing, Huang Xu and Shi Huan led troops to meet, and Zhang Liao and Chu Xu led troops to meet.
Sure enough, Han Meng came that night with thousands of grain trucks. When they entered the valley, Huang Xu and Shi Huan suddenly came out. Han Meng deals with Huang Xu in the chaos. Shi Huan led some cavalry to set fire to hay from behind, but Han Meng could not resist and fled in panic.
When the soldiers saw a fire in the north, they reported it to Yuan Shao. Yuan Shao was about to send someone to inquire, but the defeated soldiers came to report it. When Yuan Shao heard that the hay was destroyed, he immediately sent two generals, Zhang He and Gao Lan and Yu, to meet them.
On the way, they met Huang Xu and Shi Huan burning grain carts and left. It was a bitter encounter, and the two armies fought as soon as they contacted each other. Soon, the armies of Zhang Liao and Chu Xu came behind them and scattered Yuan Bing. The four generals will be together and hurried back to Guandu.
Han Meng went back to Yuan Shao alone, and Yuan Shao wanted to kill Han Meng. The generals interceded for him and Han Meng was spared the death penalty.
At this time, Shen Pei said to Yuan Shao: "The wagons carrying grain on the road are all destroyed, and the number is limited. Wu Chao (near Yanjin) is a place where grain is stored. We must send elite soldiers to guard it! "
When Yuan Shao heard this, he casually replied, "I'm ready. You'd better go back to Yucheng, supervise the collection of grain and grass, and continuously transport the grain and grass to Wu Chao. " Shen Pei was sent away.
/kloc-in October, Yuan Shao sent troops to Wu Chao to get food and grass.
Ju Shou said to Yuan Shao, "Wu Chao's defense should be strengthened! We should also send troops to patrol the grain transportation road to prevent Cao Jun from grabbing grain! "
Lombardi listened, shook his head, dismissed, and did not answer him. Wu Chao, he thought, was only 40 miles away from the camp, and Chunyu Qiong's people were already guarding it there. What are you afraid of?
Ju Shou saw that Yuan Shao didn't return, and he was unhappy, so he withdrew. No sooner had he gone out than another counselor from Nanyang Xu You came in. He came to advise Yuan Shao.
It turned out that Cao Ying was short of food, so Cao Cao specially sent messengers to see Xu Du and urged him. The messenger was caught by Yuan Jun and sent to Xuyou. Xu You searched Cao Cao's letter to Xun You urging food, came to Yuan Shao and said:
"Cao Cao has been stationed in Guandu for eight months, and Xu must be empty. As long as we divide our forces and attack at night, we will certainly win Xudu. Cao Cao is short of food and grass in Guandu. If two roads attack, Cao Cao will be captured alive. " Say that finish, he handed the letter from Cao Cao to Yuan Shao.
After reading the letter, Yuan Shao said, "Cao Cao is full of tricks. How do you know this letter was not written to us on purpose? This is a trick to lure the enemy, and I won't be fooled by him! " He threw the letter to Xu You.
Xu didn't expect his plan to be rebuffed by Yuan Shao, so he had to stand aside in frustration and stop talking. It happened that Shen Pei sent a messenger from Yecheng. Yuan Shao opened it, and the letter first reported the grain transportation, and then the accusation against Xu You. Shen Pei found out how many bribes Xu You accepted in Jizhou, how many public funds his sons and nephews embezzled and so on. Shen Pei has put Xu You's family and sons and nephews in prison. Yuan Shao saw great anger. He pointed at Xu You's nose and scolded: "You are greedy for money and take bribes, but you can't discipline your children well. How dare you tell me what to do? " I should cut off your head and forgive you for your past. Don't talk too much in the future! "Hearing this, Xu You felt very sorry. He left Fu Yuan and wanted to die, but he didn't want to. Think about the past friendship with Cao Cao, why do you have to stay here? He sighed and didn't go home to find Cao Cao.
Xu You took advantage of the night and trotted to a small forest near Cao Ying. There is a soldier of Cao Cao lurking here. The soldiers caught him. Xu togeher said:
"I am an old friend of the Prime Minister. Xu You came to report to Nanyang. " The soldiers did not dare to neglect, and led him to the camp while reporting.
By this time, Cao Cao had undressed and was ready to go to bed. When he heard that Xu You was coming, he didn't have time to put on his boots and dragged his shoes out to meet him. He clapped his hands happily and said, "Oh, Ziyuan, I wish you had come!" " "
Xu You and Cao Cao are good friends. As soon as they sat down, Cao Cao discussed with him how to deal with Yuan Shao.
Xu You said: "Some people say that Xu Du is empty, so Yuan Shaobing is taught to attack in two ways: all the way to Guandu and all the way to Xu Du, which makes you lose sight of one thing and lose sight of the other, making it difficult to cope."
Hearing this, Cao Cao broke out in a cold sweat and said, "This is not bad. Who provided this poison? "
Xu You smiled and said, "Who else? It's just that Yuan Shao didn't listen to this man and put his family in prison. He was forced to change his family. "
Cao Cao said with infinite gratitude, "How can Yuan Shao not fail if he doesn't listen to you?" ! Now that you're here, I'm counting on you. "
Xu You asked, "How many rations are there in your camp?"
Cao Cao replied, "I can hold on for another year."
Xu You sneered, "That's not right."
Cao Cao quickly changed his tune and said, "Half a year."
Xu You is angry. He stood up and said, "Goodbye!"
Cao Cao quickly held him down and said, "What's the matter?" Xu You scolded, "I came to you sincerely. Why don't you trust me?"
Cao Cao quickly explained, "Please don't take it amiss, it's hard to say this." He lowered his voice and leaned close to Xu You's ear and said, "There is only food for this month in the barracks. What did you say?/Sorry?
Xu You said seriously, "There is no hay inside, no reinforcements outside, and failure is just around the corner. I have a plan to turn your defeat into victory: Yuan Shao has more than 10,000 wagons of grain, all of which are stored in Wu Chao, and Chun Yuqiong is in charge of guarding it. Chunyu Qiong is an alcoholic, and her guard is lax. Just send thousands of cavalry to sneak in and burn the food. In three days, Yuan Jun will be defeated without a fight.
Cao Cao nodded repeatedly and asked his men to bring food and drinks. The two of them chatted over dinner until after midnight.
The next day, Cao Cao discussed with his confidant counselor the plan of permission.
Zhang Liao said to Cao Cao, "Where is the grain stored? How can Yuan Shao not send heavy troops for strict defense?" The prime minister should not be credulous, nor should he be taken in by permission. "
Cao Cao said, "Xu You is in my camp today. If he lied to me, how could he escape? " Besides, we are running out of food. If we don't adopt Xu You's plan, even if Yuan Shao doesn't call, we will starve to death. Now there is no choice but to send troops to attack Wu Chao. "
Zhang Liao added: "If we have to adopt Xu You's plan, we should also prevent Yuan Shao from taking advantage of it!"
Cao Cao smiled and said, "I have thought about it, too." He immediately announced the action plan: Ceng Hong stayed behind and stuck to the camp, Xia Houdun and Xia led the troops to ambush on the left side of the camp, Coss and Li Dian led the troops to ambush on the right side of the camp, just in case, Zhang Liao, the former, and Yu Jin were behind, and they were in the middle, leading 5,000 elite soldiers to sneak up from the alley in the dark. That evening, under the banner of Yuan Jun, each soldier set off quietly with a bundle of dry wood, a chopstick in his mouth and a rope tied to his horse's mouth. Walking, has entered the Yuan Jun stationed.
Yuan Jun asked them, "Where did it come from?" Their answer was simple: "Yuan Gong was afraid that Cao Jun would rob food and sent us to Wu Chao to strengthen our defense." Yuan Jun saw that he was playing his own banner, so he let them pass.
In this way, I fooled many sentries and successfully reached Wu Chao.
As soon as Cao Jun arrived in Wu Chao, he immediately dispersed and lit dry wood around the grain depot in Yuan Jun, and the fire suddenly burst into flames. Yuan Jun woke up from a dream and looked at the burning fire, one by one unprepared, messy. At dawn, Chunyu Qiong woke up and saw few soldiers in Cao Jun. He quickly ordered the army to leave the camp to fight. Before the battle was ready, Cao Cao ordered the army to fight back. Chunyu Qiong's soldiers could not resist, so they had to return to the camp to hold on.
Yuan Shao was shocked when he got the news that the grain depot of the Wu Dynasty was burned. When he walked out of the camp, he saw a flame burning in the northeast corner. He knew that all the grain and grass in Wu Chao had been burned out, so he immediately called civil and military officials to discuss and send troops to save him.
Guo Tu, the counselor, said, "When Cao Cao robs grain, he must personally lead the team. Now the Cao Cao camp is empty. Some soldiers and horses can be sent to save the Wu dynasty, and large troops can attack Cao Cao's camp. Cao Cao knew that the camp was being beaten, so he had to rush back to Guandu. In this way, we not only saved Wu Chao, but also captured Cao Ying alive. This is Sun Bin's style of "encircling Wei to save Zhao"! "
Yuan Shao said to Zhang He, "You and Gao Lan will attack Cao Ying."
Zhang He disagrees with this proposition. He said, "You can't do this. When Cao Cao robs grain, he must take enough military forces and guard the camp. If Chunyu Qiong is defeated, we will lose everything. It is our best policy to fully rescue Wu Chao. "
Hearing this, Guo Tu got angry and asked Zhang He, "You said that Cao Cao was going to guard the camp. He wants to fight the nest and defend the camp. How many troops can he have? "
At present, Yuan Shao could not allow the two men to fight again, so he ordered Zhang He to attack quickly and sent Wu Chao to rescue him.
Just as Cao Cao urged his troops to attack the Wu Dynasty, spies came to report that Yuan Shao's reinforcements were coming soon.
Someone advised Cao Cao to quickly divide some troops to help. Cao Cao decided to attack Wu Chao with all his might, considering that once the troops were dispersed, they would be greatly weakened, the enemy camp could not be captured, and the reinforcements could not be defeated. He ordered: "attack the enemy camp, forget the reinforcements, and report to me when the enemy arrives in the rear!" " "So, Cao Jun went all out to kill the enemy bravely, and finally broke through the enemy camp before the arrival of enemy reinforcements and burned all the enemy's food reserves.
Jiang Ji and others led a group of troops to run to the Wu Dynasty, and met Chunyu Qiong's beaten army on the way. Jiang Ji called them useless and told them to stand on both sides and let their troops pass. Unexpectedly, Zhang Liao and Chu Xu stood out from Chunyu Qiong's team. They shouted, "Jiang Qi, look at the knife!" Jiang Ji caught off guard and was beheaded by Zhang Liao. Originally, Cao Cao wiped out Chunyu Qiong's army, took their flags and clothes, and ordered soldiers from Zhang Liao and Chu Xu to stop Yuan Shao's reinforcements in Chunyu Qiong and dress up as defeated soldiers. Jiang Qi was cheated, and the whole army was wiped out.
Zhang He and Gao Lan attacked Cao Cao and only dealt with the middle road. Unexpectedly, Xia Houdun and Xia on the left, Coss and Li Dian on the right and Cao Hong in the middle were killed together. Yuan Jun couldn't resist the three-way attack and fled in defeat.
Before they fled back to the camp, some soldiers who had their noses cut off in Wu Chao arrived first. These soldiers were deliberately released by Cao Cao to humiliate Yuan Shao. They chattered and made Yuan Shao's nose crooked. Yuan Shao asked them how they lost their nest, and they replied, "General Chun only cares about drinking and is unprepared for the enemy's attack." Lombardi spirit not dozen 1 come, immediately ordered his men to Chunyu Qiong killed outside.
Guo tu was trembling with fear, and he quickly pushed his own fault to others. He leaned in Yuan Shao's ear and said, "Zhang He and Gao Lan are very happy to see the general defeated and die." Yuan Shao asked, "Why are they like this?"
Guo Tu replied: "The two of them have always had the heart to surrender to Cao Cao. They attacked Cao Ying intentionally or unintentionally, so they failed."
Yuan Shao was very angry and sent someone to call Zhang He and Gao Lan to the camp for interrogation.
At this point, Gao Lan and Zhang He lost, blaming Yuan Shao for his improper command. Now they see Yuan Shao's villain calling them for trial. They were cruel. They killed people sent by Yuan Shao and surrendered to Cao Cao with their cronies. Cao Cao immediately named Zhang He the partial general Hou Ting and Gao Lan the partial general Donghou.
Yuan Shao lost an adviser (Xu You) and two generals (Zhang He, Gao Lan). All Wu Chao's food was burned again. He was on tenterhooks during the day and fidgeted at night. Sure enough, in the middle of the night, Zhang He and Gao Lan led troops to kill. They used to be a family, and some of them were friends. When Zhang He and Gao Lan's soldiers called, someone really ran over. Yuan Jun disorderly war, dead, injured, surrendered, dawn, they retreated, Lombardi's men went to the half.
Just as Yuan Shao was in a panic in the camp, the soldiers came in to report: "It is widely rumored that Cao Cao's soldiers are divided into two ways: one is to take Zizyphus jujuba and attack Ye Jun; Take Liyang all the way and break our way home. "
On hearing the news, Yuan Shao immediately sent 30,000 troops to save Ye Jun, and then sent 30,000 troops to save Liyang, and set out overnight. In fact, where did Cao Cao get so many soldiers and horses to attack in two ways? He used the trick of Xu You and told people to spread the news everywhere, which made Yuan Shao fall into a trap.
Yuan Shao's sixty thousand troops retreated in two ways. When Cao Cao heard that Yuan Shao had mobilized the army, he commanded the whole army and rushed to kill them. Yuan Jun didn't dare to fight, and fled. Lombardi and his son Yuan Tan didn't have time to wear helmets and armour, so they dressed in casual clothes and headscarves, rode their horses and hurried across the river with more than 800 cavalry.
Cao Cao didn't get to Yuan Shao so early and ran across the river to catch up, but he couldn't catch up.
Cao Cao won a great victory, killing 780,000 Yuan Jun before and after. The trench, treasures, silks and satins, books and files abandoned by Yuan Shao all belong to Cao Jun ... Before Jushou could spend them, he was caught by you and sent to the camp. He shouted, "I didn't surrender." Now that you are caught, kill me! "Cao Cao once had a friendship with him and coaxed him into saying," Yuan Shao didn't have a plan, so he failed.
Now the world is undecided, I just need you to discuss something important with me. Please don't be stubborn. Fuck forgave him and left him in the camp. But Jushou stole the horse and tried to escape back to Yuan Shao. Cao Cao killed him.
In the battle of Guandu, Yuan Shao's main force was basically eliminated, and Cao Cao's strength was greatly enhanced, which laid the foundation for his unification of the North.
