What should I do if the vehicle is dead and can't start?

In the process of vehicle use, it often happens that the vehicle can't start suddenly. In fact, most of them are caused by battery power loss. In the rescue of 4S shops, repair shops and insurance companies, electric rescue also accounts for a large proportion. What if the vehicle is out of power?

1. Call the insurance company and ask them to come to the rescue.

Most insurance companies will provide free trailer, electricity and oil delivery services. Please consult your local insurance company for details. Even the additional services provided by the same insurance company in different regions are different. For example, the author's car has free trailer, electricity and oil delivery services twice a year, as well as free car inspection and driving services. Of course, these are also limited, for example, the free scope of rescue is limited to the local area.

2, do it yourself, take the electricity to save.

Many car owners will have batteries in the trunk, especially drivers who often run long distances, and some will also have emergency start-up power. Today, let's learn how to start a vehicle with electricity.

Take the wire

Whether starting with emergency starting power supply or starting with another car's battery, it is necessary to remember the connection principle between power supplies: the positive pole is connected to the positive pole and the negative pole is connected to the negative pole, so that the power supplies are connected in parallel; When connecting the battery pole, it should be positive before negative, and when disassembling it, it should be negative before positive. The following is an example of starting a battery connected to another car with a jumper.

When the ground wire is connected, the rescue vehicle is closed. The steps are as follows.

(1) Connect one end of the red jumper (positive connecting wire) to the battery positive terminal of the rescued vehicle and the other end to the battery positive terminal of the rescued vehicle.

(2) Connect one end of the black jumper (negative connecting wire) to the negative battery of the rescue vehicle, and the other end to the negative battery of the rescue vehicle.

(3) Start the rescue vehicle and start the rescued vehicle after idling for a few minutes.

After the rescue is completed, remove the jumper wire as follows.

(1) Disconnect the connector of the black jumper wire connected to the negative battery of the rescue vehicle, and then disconnect the other connector of the black jumper wire of the negative battery of the rescue vehicle.

(2) Disconnect the red jumper connector on the positive battery of the rescue vehicle, and then disconnect the other connector of the red jumper on the positive battery of the rescue vehicle.

The vehicle cannot be turned off immediately after it is started. Let the generator run for a period of time and then charge the battery. It is recommended to run for more than 30 minutes.
