Besides public windows, ordinary people's windows are infinitely beautiful and interesting.
On the other hand, the overall aesthetic taste of Shenzhen street material elements needs to be further improved. Can an organization like the Design Urban Art Committee be established to unify the overall design and make our urban design diversified and rich in quality? The residential areas in Shenzhen are very beautiful, but many green spaces in the middle of the residential areas are designed by developers for beautification, and there is no public participation. How to make ordinary citizens participate more in design, integrate and feel the beauty of design, and mobilize enterprises to invest to further improve the urban environment is the proper meaning of deepening the connotation of "design capital".
Reporter: The openness of Shenzhen's design system, the market awareness and service awareness of design enterprises are all in the forefront of the country. At present, how to further enhance the attraction to talents and make the "design capital" show stronger radiation and influence?
Wang Fuhai: Shenzhen's planning and architectural design have the first-Mover advantage. The diverse values and vibrant urban spirit brought by immigrant culture have nurtured the growth soil of creative design, and the open design system has also created a good environment for planners and architects. But at the same time, we should also see that the reputation and influence of urban architectural design in Shenzhen has been weakening since the 1990s, and the design influence needs to be further expanded.
Whether a city can be proud of design depends on whether the city can gather beautiful and top design talents. Therefore, the government must make a development plan for the overall situation and industry trend of the design industry in order to attract more fresh blood and form a talent echelon.

"Design Capital" has opened up a broader road for the development of Shenzhen. Shenzhen people look forward to starting again with this platform and looking for a broader sky. Whether local design companies design a large number of world-class works is the only criterion to test whether the title of "Design Capital" is worthy of the name.
