Postgraduate entrance examination is really a matter of endurance and willpower, which requires persistence and hard work to succeed, so it is very important for you to find out why you want to take postgraduate entrance examination, because only by confirming your firm motivation can you persist in the final sprint stage.
If you just see that people around you are taking the postgraduate entrance examination and decide to take the postgraduate entrance examination, but you just drift with the flow and have no firm confidence, it is very easy to give up halfway. Moreover, the postgraduate entrance examination is very hot now, which means that the competition will be fierce and the opportunity for adjustment will be rare, so the pressure will be greater when preparing for the exam, so everyone must adjust their mentality, neither too much pressure nor slack off.
Although it is very important to choose a school, my personal suggestion must be made as early as possible, because even if it is the same major, the examination subjects in different schools may not be exactly the same, so I went ashore to Xinjiang University.

About the initial test process
On the day of the exam, although I was still very nervous, I was more calm and calm, not because I thought I would pass the exam, but because I thought I really tried my best and the result really didn't matter. In this state, the play is not bad, but also very lucky.
On the first day of the exam, early in the morning, 202 1 we had the first light snow there. I went early, so did my classmates. Most of them carried Xiao Si nervously. Snow falls on us, on our schoolbags and on their recitation materials. It's really cold, but I just choose to put my hand in my pocket, leave some heating, and try again later, because it's really cold, and I feel particularly cold with an exam pencil case in my hand. I was the first to enter the examination room. I sat there and rubbed my hands for a long time, and my hands finally warmed up a lot. I felt lucky when I took the political exam. I basically know all the problems except one, and then the big ones. Last year, Xiao Si was extremely accurate. This year, it seems that I made a mistake, but I memorized the information of Xiao Si and Sister Leg, and then I simply read the papers of other teachers, which made it easier to write! But the final exam was not so good, with 74 points, only more than last year 1.
In the afternoon, I took an English exam. During the exam, I was a little nervous, because I haven't practiced the simulation paper for several months (too many times in the first year, and I remembered all the answers), and my writing time was not well controlled, which led to too much time spent on my composition. I was in a hurry, but I didn't look carefully, and the result was uncertain. Finally, I filled in the cloze before I could see it. I thought I didn't do well in the exam, but the result was ok. I got 76 points in the exam.
The next morning, I took the math level 3 exam. When I first got the test paper, I looked at the questions and thought it was ok, but the multiple-choice questions felt difficult to write, and several questions were uncertain. I scored five points on one question. If these two parts are wrong and not written, it is estimated that they are both twenty or thirty. Then there is the big question, which is well written this time, except for the results of the second question of the two questions, which are basically written. I feel that this set of questions has a huge amount of calculation and pays more attention to the foundation. Maybe my brain is not very good, and I feel that I haven't made much progress in math, so I got a little more than 100. I thought I could get around 120. It is estimated that there are too many mistakes in choosing topics and filling in the blanks (I don't have the courage to answer questions after the exam, but I feel good about myself).
I took a professional class in the afternoon, which surprised me. It feels different from the real questions I saw in previous years. The content of the exam is wider, and it pays more attention to frame logic and innovative thinking. I was a little too late to recite professional courses, so I recited a concise version of my notes, read the real questions for nearly ten years, and then supplemented some contents according to the outline without reading a book. As a result, the new knowledge added in the syllabus was not admitted, and the content of reference books in previous years was about half. Instead, I took many tutorials, such as "Peter's Principle". To tell you the truth, I really haven't heard of it. I was puzzled when I saw the explanation of this term (I wrote a sentence "Peter's principle was put forward by Peter" in the last two minutes, and now I feel funny when I think about this answer). Then there are a few nouns that seem incomprehensible, all written according to their own understanding. The next few big questions are almost all cases or material analysis questions. I just answer in three parts. One is to ask specific questions according to the materials, the other is to supplement the relevant contents mentioned in the topic (looking for relevant frameworks), and the third is to flexibly write several macro, abstract and innovative answers. Except for "Peter's Principle", all the professional courses were written, and they were full, as if they had written seven pages, and they were not free for three hours. Finally, I was surprised to see the results of professional courses. I only got a little more than 100. According to the situation in previous years, there should be quite a few students around 120 and 130. I thought I could get 120, but what happened? Later, I paid attention to the excesses of this major in this school and found that many students' professional courses were not high this year. Except for a few particularly fierce students, they are basically at the level of more than 90, 100, and I am almost at the middle level, which is not bad compared with that. (However, this specialized course is not as high as my Chinese exam, which is really funny. It can only be said that the postgraduate entrance examination situation is getting more and more difficult.
About the second interview process
After the exam, I have been messing around, from the exam in 65438+February to the result in February. After playing for nearly two months, I bought a reference book for the second exam during the Spring Festival. And I didn't read a page. Because deep down in my heart, I'm still not sure if I can get into this school this time, and I dare not answer questions, and then I'm in a state of "doing my best and resigned".
Later, the score was not much higher than last year. Politics and English are ok, and math is poor, but at least I didn't pull my ass. What exactly is that specialized course? It's so low, but according to my inquiries, it seems that everyone didn't do well in the exam, not bad. It should be promising to enter the second interview.
Then began to actively prepare for the second interview, the second interview mainly examines three aspects:
The first is the examination of specialized courses, and I took two books, one is enterprise management and the other is intermediate microeconomics. I made a rough analysis. Business administration is easier to recite, and economics is a bit difficult. I watched the relevant videos first, and then recited my memory while understanding. However, intermediate microeconomics is still quite difficult, especially the calculation problems, which are even more confusing. So, I did an opportunistic thing. I only have a simple understanding and understanding of the calculation problems, mainly related concepts and principles of backrest. I bought a retest note summarized by my seniors, and thus recited the main contents of this book for more than 20 days. I spent another week reciting books on business management. So the basic problem of specialized courses is not big. The second is an English interview. I prepared the topic 15 and recited it many times. I can basically blurt it out. The third is a comprehensive interview. I think the scope of the exam is too wide to prepare. Therefore, in addition to the common basic topics, we rely on the ability to react on the spot, generally the framework of logical statements. The topic of the investigation course is professional knowledge plus case analysis, and the investigation of personal data is personal experience plus gains and losses.
The re-examination time of Xinjiang University is quite late, and the professional re-examination time is 4. 1. It has both advantages and disadvantages. The advantage is that we have more time to prepare for the second interview. The disadvantage is that if we don't enroll, there will be less opportunities for adjustment. When preparing for the second interview, I also contacted a good undergraduate teacher. If I fail in the exam, if the school has time to adjust, I will be admitted.
I made full preparations for the second interview. On the day of the second interview, I seemed to be the first one to interview. To be honest, I'm nervous. A big office appeared on the computer screen, and five or six teachers sat in a row and looked at me. My hands and legs were shaking at that time, but fortunately they couldn't see.
The whole second interview process feels so fast. First, I took a professional course, and that's all I recited. Then there is spoken English, ha, I prepared it in advance; Finally, synthesis. I feel that I didn't answer well. Teachers pay more attention to professionalism. I hope I can answer with my professional knowledge, but I seem to forget. I feel that I lack the support of professional knowledge and my answer is very thin. Fortunately, the interview was over soon. Let's die early and be super-born early. It starts around 9: 00 and ends after 9: 20. I don't have the anxiety of waiting behind. It's good.
Later, I saw the final ranking. Well, my second interview was actually not bad, and I was quite happy to get into the final comprehensive ranking. At that time, looking at the teachers' serious expressions, I felt that the following answers were useless, whether it was superficial calmness or Silas with a back. Fortunately, I have stabilized.
Some suggestions on the initial examination
First, about politics, I took the exam twice, and I have been doing well. Politics is to get the biggest reward in the least time. My strategy is that in the early stage, Mr. Xu Tao will strengthen the class and add exercises (Xiao Lao 1000 questions), in the middle stage, the leg sister skills class and subsequent related courses, and in the later stage, the leg sister will take notes, and all kinds of teacher prediction papers and composition papers. Finally, before the exam, we will give priority to the big topic of Xiao Si and Leg Sister's composition class, and we will learn more from it. If you have time, just look at other teachers' big ideas. A lot of reading mainly lies in memorizing ideas and frameworks. It is of great help to write big questions later. Even if you don't recite them, you still have something to say and keywords to write.
Secondly, as for English, I took English I, so let's talk about my feelings and suggestions about it. I think the English test is about words, composition and familiarity. First of all, if the words are almost memorized, reading is basically ok (of course, it is not excluded that some students with poor grammar need to strengthen their grammar). Four readings, new questions, translation and gestalt are all reading questions. You must memorize more words and keep familiar with them until the exam. Secondly, composition, big composition, small composition should not be too casual, waiting for the examination room to improvise, and should not be too rigid in templates. In a word, we should sum up our own theme template, and don't make a big push for the theme composition, and then recite it endlessly, upset and badly. Reciting the composition must start early, and you can recite it almost in mid-October, until the exam, and insist on dictation for half a month before the exam. Finally, by familiarity, I mean practicing and planning the real questions well. Be sure to practice the real questions several times before the exam. Even if you remember the answers to the real questions, you need to simulate them in strict accordance with the first half of the exam. I just finished reciting words and compositions two months before the exam, and then I failed the exam. I am not familiar with it at all. The whole process was so hectic that there was no plan at all.
Third, about mathematics, how to say it? I always thought my math was ok. The basic mathematics of liberal arts in senior high school is about 130, and I took the college entrance examination 13 1. Then I got full marks in college. The linear generation was excellent and the probability theory was good. As a result, I got two exams in the postgraduate entrance examination, and none of them were very good. So the reality is probably that my math is not so good, but mine. In the first year, I was blind and confident, and I also specialized in solving difficult problems and partial problems (now I think about it, it's really funny). As a result, the foundation is not solid and the calculation ability is not good. Can I write or not? In the second year, I focused on learning basic knowledge and calculation problems, and the effect was not bad, at least a little progress. Mathematics for postgraduate entrance examination is not good, so I can't give much advice. Probably, if I lay a good foundation, practice my calculation ability and do real problems several times, I should be able to ensure that math will not be too poor!
Suggestions on specialized courses
First of all, let me talk about the background of business administration major in Xinjiang University that I took this year. Our major has changed greatly. The first is to combine the previous five majors into one (the competitiveness seems to be getting bigger). Second, the score seems to be not as high as in previous years, and the overall score should have a downward trend of 10 to 15 (just like this year, I don't know what will happen next time). Third, the topic examination is more extensive and flexible.
Secondly, talk about my preparation process and exam experience.
In this specialized course, I consulted my good friend and another classmate who took the exam in this school. They did well in the last exam, one was 130 and the other was 133. Through talking with them, I basically understand the preparation direction, materials used, supplementary knowledge points and various matters needing attention. According to my personal experience, I have the following ideas about professional courses: First, if time is too late, you don't need to read books, just recite notes directly (but you need to add some knowledge points according to books). I mainly recite Robbins' fine notes (bought from my senior sister), accompanied by holy notes (bought online), and then combined with the outline, I will summarize the notes and multi-frequency test sites that are not among them. Finally, I will simulate, recite and summarize the real questions over the years. Second, this year's exam style feels that I not only got Robbins, but also got some knowledge points on Wednesday, so I need to read more notes on Wednesday (for example, I didn't do the notes of related saints, so I felt a little rusty during the exam). In fact, these two books also have a lot of duplication, so there shouldn't be too much supplementary content. Of course, the main repetition is Robbins. Third, there are some ideas after the whole exam, except for noun explanations (short answer questions are also composed of multiple noun explanations), which are basically material analysis questions, so I mainly look at framework, logic and innovation (or macro thinking). What I understand (of course not necessarily right, but there must be something to say in answering such a big question), the framework I am talking about is about the theme or topic of this material. May I ask questions from a perspective? Then there is logic. The basic questions of liberal arts need to be answered separately. In addition to the framework logic of knowledge points, we must answer them point by point. Finally, innovation can be discussed in one or two points.
Generally speaking, the idea of answering questions is as follows:
(1) Noun explanation: explain the word itself (possibly more than one word) and one or two related contents. For example, transactional leaders can be considered as leaders, transactional leaders and corresponding strategic leaders.
(2) Short answer: In addition to answering according to the framework of the knowledge point itself, you can also answer from the perspective of "what, why and how" (give a typical case as much as possible). For example, can we consider the influencing factors of organizational design, organization, what is the significance of organizational design, the influencing factors of organizational design, how to do organizational design well and so on.
(3) The composition is equivalent to a small essay, and the idea of "what to do, why to do it, and how to do it" should be well used. Generally, "what and why" is the first question, and "how to do it" is the second. The second question first explains the nouns in the topic, then answers the topic itself, and finally quotes typical success or failure cases; The second question, besides the question and answer itself, needs more divergent thinking, and gives some supplementary suggestions in combination with the reality of modern life.
(4) Case analysis questions and material analysis questions (I think there is little difference, and the answer ideas are similar). First, explain all the relevant terms in the question, then answer the question itself in combination with the materials (principle plus case or material analysis), third, talk about your own practices in the case or material, advantages and disadvantages, and finally analyze the reasons (subjective and objective, reasons for failure or success) or give relevant suggestions (generally, it is very important to summarize the case first or analyze the case or material here, so read the materials carefully and make a summary. There are many scores, and more time is needed to read and summarize.
Finally, there are several points to note about specialized courses:
First, recite it as early as possible, and then repeat it over and over again. Even if the scores generally decline, it should not be difficult to get an average score as long as you lay a good foundation and recite well.
Second, if time permits, I suggest you take time to read the business management book of the second interview before the initial examination, look at the framework, summarize the framework, and then memorize the notes of the initial examination, which will be clearer and more flexible. After reading this book again, I feel that this framework is really simple and clear, and it can deal with many big questions, and it can be answered from multiple angles when necessary.
Third, look at the real questions of earlier years. Although it is a hot topic in recent years, there seem to be some real questions in the set of papers I took. Learn all the real questions by heart. If you feel too much, recite it early. In fact, I think some early real questions are a little biased, so I didn't pay much attention to them. As a result, I got all the exams. Fortunately, the undergraduate course has a little foundation, otherwise it will be abolished.
Fourth, if possible, let's see if we can find the courseware of undergraduate management courses in Xinjiang University. I heard that this is quite useful (I didn't expect it at that time, alas, I regret it).
Fifth, if there is not enough time for the second interview, you may not need to look at the calculation questions, because if you really get the intermediate microeconomic calculation questions in the 20-minute interview, it is estimated that one question has passed and it feels unnecessary.
The above is all my feelings about the postgraduate entrance examination, which is a bit too much and messy, because I wrote it bit by bit when I went to work and fished during the day, and then stayed up late at night.
I didn't want to write at first, because I felt that I didn't do well in the exam and my grades were not very good. There was no place to pull out all the subjects. It's still a bit good to talk about suggestions and experiences as a teacher.
But after thinking about it, I still want to finish this postgraduate entrance examination seriously. After all, it is a summary of my hard work in the past two years, and it is also memorable. At the same time, there are many detours and dangerous pits in this process. I hope those who take the postgraduate entrance examination can learn some lessons from it, take less detours and share more dry goods.
Postgraduate entrance examination is not easy. I sincerely hope that everyone can go ashore as soon as possible and be admitted to their favorite schools.
Come on, rush. ! !
