The medical insurance card cannot be cashed out, and the medical insurance card should be reported in time to prevent it from being stolen.
If the cardholder accidentally loses the resident medical insurance card, he should report the loss to the labor and social security department by telephone within the shortest time (24-hour service telephone number: 12333), and provide his name, ID number or resident medical insurance card number and personal related information;
To reissue a medical insurance card:
1. After reporting the loss, the insured shall apply to the medical insurance agency for a replacement card with his ID card.
2. When going through the formalities of card replacement, the insured person fills in the Application Form for Card Replacement of Social Security Card for Urban Employees, and can get a new card at the medical insurance agency within 5 working days after applying for card replacement.
3. When accepting the application for replacement card, the medical insurance agency must collect fees and issue relevant receipts as required.
