What is the difference between a labor service company and an intermediary? Are they the same thing?

A labor service company is a company engaged in labor dispatch business. The labor service company itself is an enterprise that directly employs laborers to engage in production and operation, while the intermediary company only takes employees as the object and content of business activities, and does not employ its intermediary personnel.

The obvious differences between the two are: one is to directly hire workers, and the other is to introduce workers to other units that need employment.

The business scope of the labor service company is as follows:

1, providing publicity and consulting services for national personnel and labor policies and regulations;

2. Provide services for recruiting and introducing needed talents, including handling the reception of university graduates (including transferring the registered permanent residence to Guangzhou);

3, in accordance with the relevant policies and regulations, responsible for the management of personnel administrative relations, personnel files and related personnel file materials collection, identification and sorting;

4, in accordance with the relevant provisions, undertake the identification and evaluation of professional and technical qualifications;

5. Handling the employment, termination and contract verification of dispatched personnel;

6. Pay wages and benefits to dispatched personnel, and withhold and remit personal income tax;

7. Send personnel to handle social pooling insurance and commercial medical supplementary insurance, and go through the payment procedures;

8, according to the relevant provisions of the personnel sent abroad for political review, apply for a license and issue a variety of documents on the basis of the file;

9. Assist in handling the dismissal of dispatched personnel, promotion and re-employment after dismissal;

10, to undertake other personnel management related matters.
