Lou Yu, one of the four major libraries in Zhejiang, is located in the front street of Chengguan Road, Ruian City. There is an inscription on the stone tablet in the Ming Dynasty: July of the year of Gengzi in Wanli is an auspicious day for Renzi, and the abbot raised it.

In the three rooms in front of the main hall, there are bucket beams hanging from the top of the mountain. After the restoration, the inscription was engraved on the gold pillar of the Ming Dynasty: Qiu Meng in the seventeenth year of Kangxi. There are three bays in the main hall. The bay is a hanging beam, and the second bay is a bucket beam frame. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, the gold pillar was engraved with an inscription built by Lin donating silver. There are six wings, and the threshold stone is engraved with Qingdao light year. There are many exquisite reliefs in the building, but they were seriously damaged in the ten-year catastrophe.

There are stone lions and incense burners in the first year of Ming Taizu (162 1), and there are also many inscriptions in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Shengjing Stone Temple is the earliest, largest and most well-preserved stone building complex in our city, which has important reference value for the study of ancient stone architectural art in China. In addition, there are many inscriptions in the temple that record Wen, Rui and others begging for rain in the holy well during the Song and Ming Dynasties, recording the year and disaster situation of each drought. They are precious historical materials for studying disasters and meteorological laws in Wenzhou history. In 2006, it was listed as the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
