Iron Man Century Super Endurance Couple Challenge 100 days 100 triathlon.

John Merer and Andrew Ha Zeer of Sydney, Australia, are improving the challenge record of sports couples' file-starting from 65438+1October 28th, the couple will complete 100 super or semi-super triathlon in 100 days. John and Debbie call this challenge the steel century. John is doing a super triathlon, and Debbie (who just gave birth to their son Ryder seven months ago) aims to be a super triathlete halfway. Their goal is to take part in the Super Triathlon in Australia on May 7th, and complete the last challenge in mcquarrie Port-and qualify for the Kona Triathlon World Championship. Are they crazy? That must be true. The following is a brief interview with them by Suunto a few days ago:

Iron man century challenge poster? What makes you think that? Also, what makes you think you can finish this crazy project? Our inspiration comes from the Iron Man Cowboy James Lawrence, who completed 50 iron man races in 50 states in 50 days. We think he has so much journey, processing and planning, and he has done it. The same route in our backyard has been run 100 times, of course it can be done. Run the same route every day? In the first 95 days, we will take the same route. We will start with Prince Alfred swimming pool, which is a few kilometers away from home. Every morning, the staff will reserve a special swimming lane for us. What about cycling and running? We will jump on the camper and drive from the swimming pool to the century park about one kilometer away from home. It's only 3.8 kilometers around the park. I will run 48 laps by bike, Debbie will run 24 laps, I will run 12 laps and Debbie will run 6 laps. That sounds difficult. How long will it take to complete? 100 days is a long time, but I am born with a fast pace of exercise, so I can't run too slowly. My goal is 12 hours, and Debbie is 6 hours. Will this challenge be accompanied? Yes-our 7-month-old son Ryder likes to sit in the stroller. He will accompany us every day. It is estimated that after the completion of this project, there will be 7000 kilometers of activity records-he will have his own Suunto sports watch to record his adventures!

Fb/ironcentury-100 ironman100 days is there any way to see all your training? Yes, all the sports records are synchronized with Suunto watches on the Movescount sports platform (here are John's information and Debbie's information), and the posts will be updated every day and the movies will be put on. Do you need good logistics support to plan this activity? Indeed-success depends entirely on physical recovery. Foodora sends hot food to our house every night so that we don't have to cook. The local physical health center also set up a * * * treatment team to treat us every day during our challenge. What about the last five days? In 95 days, the two of us will jump on the camper and go to mcquarrie Port to participate in the Australian Super Triathlon, hoping to qualify for this year's Hawaiian Triathlon World Championships.
