Sodium pentachlorophenol (NaPCP) is a common mildew inhibitor in China. It has been used for wood protection for more than 50 years, and it is very effective in inhibiting wood mildew and decay. However, since the discovery of carcinogens in chlorophenols, chlorophenols have been gradually banned in more and more countries (such as Japan and the United States).
At present, the main fungicides with low toxicity, high efficiency and no pollution are chlorothalonil, methylene disulfide and triazole compounds. At present, a wood mildew inhibitor named GNCE5700-L2 can replace the sodium pentachlorophenol mildew inhibitor. The main components of GNCE5700-L2 wood mildew inhibitor are the emulsion of chlorothalonil and carbendazim, and the effective component is 46%, which is milky white, tasteless and basically non-toxic.
