Zheng Shichang (1898- 1937) was born in Shanmei Village, Xiaochi Township, Longyan County, Fujian Province (now xinluo district, Longyan City). 1929 took part in the revolutionary struggle at the beginning, and soon joined the China * * * production party. He was a member of the workers and peasants riot squad in Wang Mei Town, Longyan County. 1929 participated in the Longyan riots in March, and then participated in the struggle to create the Longyan revolutionary base.
