Method 1: Take off the orthokeratology lens with both hands.
It can be operated with both hands. After pulling the eyelid with the index finger of the left hand, gently press it down, so that the upper eyelid edge is close to the upper edge of the lens, while pulling the lower eyelid with the index finger of the right hand, and separating the lower edge of the lens from the cornea with the lower eyelid edge.
Note: When taking the lens, you can put a handkerchief or towel under your face (avoid using green and blue to avoid confusion with the lens) to prevent the lens from falling to the ground and being damaged. Related articles: How to pick up the lens when it accidentally falls on the table!
Method 2: Take off the orthokeratology lens with one hand.
This method is suitable for people with big eyelids (big eyes). Open your eyes wide and face straight ahead or slightly outward. Place the index finger or middle finger of the hand vertically on the outer corner of the lens at the same side, and pull the double eyelids outward and upward. At this time, the eyelid fissure is narrow, and the upper and lower eyelid edges lightly press the lens edge, and the lens will be squeezed out in a blink of an eye. When the camera comes out, grab the camera with your other hand.
Note: When pulling the eyelid, if the eyelid edge is everted or the lens is covered under the eyelid, the lens is not easy to be squeezed out. Open your eyes wide before pulling your eyelids to fully expose the edge of the lens.
