The college has complete study and living facilities, more than 700 computers, advanced broadband campus network teaching system, electronic reading room, multimedia audio-visual center, voice training center, radio transmitting station, 2/kloc-0 laboratories for electricians, electronics, hydraulics, machine tool circuits, numerical control machining technology, thermal energy engineering, single chip microcomputer, PLC, welding, elevator control, motor dragging and household appliances, with a total area of 970. The college has six departments, including electrical engineering department, department of mechanical engineering, computer engineering department, management engineering department, basic discipline department and humanities and social sciences department, and offers 24 majors and 32 professional directions in four categories, including mechanical and electrical engineering, computer science and technology, electrical engineering and economic management. At present, there are 340 faculty members, including teachers 190 and more than 4,500 students.

The college has distinctive professional features: welding technology and equipment, electromechanical engineering, CNC machine tool processing technology, computer network technology, electronic information technology, automatic control technology, applied electronic technology and so on. Welding technology and equipment specialty is an excellent specialty in Xinjiang manufacturing industry. The College Computer Center has 700 multimedia computers, fully introducing the Internet, building a whole-course network teaching, and providing a special network laboratory for students to practice network installation and maintenance.
