Dalian is located at the southern tip of Liaodong Peninsula, between 38 43 ′ ~ 4012 ′ north latitude and 0/20 58 ′ ~123 31′ east longitude. It borders the Yellow Sea in the east, the Bohai Sea in the west, the Shandong Peninsula across the sea in the south and the vast Northeast Plain in the north.
