Offices and committees

China Broadcasting Association has an office and a professional committee: the office consists of six departments: General Affairs Department, Member Management Department, Academic Training Department, International Liaison Department, Information Consulting and Technology Development Department and Modern Advertising Magazine. Professional committees include advertisers committee, newspaper committee, broadcasting committee, television committee, advertising company committee, railway committee, public transportation committee and academic committee.

Leading organization

The highest authority of China Broadcasting Association is the member congress. When the Congress is not in session, the Council and the Executive Council implement the resolutions of the Congress, exercise the functions and powers of the Congress and lead the work of the offices.

Information consultation center

China Broadcasting Association Information Consulting Center (hereinafter referred to as the Center) is a consulting service organization under China Advertising Association, and its main businesses are:

I. Consultation before advertisement release

1995 after the formal implementation of the advertising law, under the guidance of the advertising department of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, China Advertising Association launched this business, mainly to consult the legality of advertising content before publication according to relevant laws and regulations. Because the advertising law is basically a framework law, there may be many problems to be analyzed in the implementation. Therefore, it is very necessary to set up this organization to provide consulting help for the majority of members and advertising business units. The center accepts all kinds of product advertisements except medicines, medical devices, pesticides and veterinary drugs, and accepts various forms of TV, radio and print advertisements such as scripts, sample tapes and proofs. The main procedures are: advertising business units (advertising companies, media or advertisers) completely voluntarily provide advertising copy, scripts or broadcast finished products, and pay consulting fees; The center puts forward suggestions on the modification of the originality and improper design that are inconsistent with the laws and regulations in the advertisement (the center should consult the advertising department for inconclusive issues) and issue a Notice of Preliminary Consultation; Identify legal and completed advertisements, copy and file them, issue consultation certificates, and bear corresponding legal joint liability for the consultation results.

The center aims at "basing itself on the market, serving its members and promoting self-discipline". In the arrangement of consultation time, in principle, the schedule of receiving customers is not limited, and the needs of customers are their own responsibility; When determining the consultation period, we promise to give a consultation reply within three working days and strive to complete the consultation within 24 hours; In the attitude of consulting work, firmly establish the concept that customers are God, be patient and considerate, and put yourself in the customer's shoes. Whoever puts on airs must leave the consulting post; At the consulting business level, we should grasp the scale of advertising laws and regulations as accurately as possible, be legal and not artificially set obstacles, and strive to make the consulting results stand the test of practice.

If the advertising operators encounter problems when delivering according to the contents of the consultation certificate, the center is responsible for further communication and coordination with relevant units and trying to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the advertising operators.

The consulting business of the center has been carried out for more than three years, which has had a certain impact on the advertising industry and has been recognized by more and more multimedia units. It has provided tangible help to the majority of members and advertising operators, and played a positive role in implementing the advertising law, assisting the advertising management agencies to standardize the advertising market and maintaining fair competition.

In order to better reflect the role of consultation before advertising release, it is suggested that the units that come to consult should start consulting from the stage of advertising script to avoid the huge losses caused by blind production, and the consulting fee is cheaper than direct delivery of broadcast tapes, which is the main significance of prior consultation.

1In September, 1998, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce issued the Notice on Stopping Advertising Censorship Agencies, which prohibited the administrative departments for industry and commerce from conducting advertising censorship in advance, which provided a guarantee for further solving the problem of compulsory censorship of advertisements by some local administrative departments, and also provided a broader world for intermediary agencies to do consulting work. China Broadcasting Association Consulting Center will provide better service in the new year and solve problems for colleagues in the advertising industry.

Second, the maintenance of the website of China Advertising Association

China Advertising Association cooperated with North Guolian Information Technology Co., Ltd. to establish a website on the Internet, and set up many columns such as industry news, advertising company directory, exhibition information, media quotation, advertising laws and regulations, job recruitment, study and thinking, online advertising association and so on. The center will be responsible for constantly improving the content and form of the website, increasing the dynamic information of the advertising industry, and strengthening communication and contact with national advertising business units through the network. Also welcome more people in the industry to visit and pay attention to this site and put forward valuable opinions.

Third, other services.

1. TV advertisement monitoring: China Advertising Association cooperated with the former Urban Dispatching Corps of the National Bureau of Statistics to monitor the advertisements of more than 160 TV channels in 32 cities across the country, and provided statistical data and monitoring reports of 14 and10/small advertisements (written, floppy or online)

2. Statistics of national advertising industry: data of annual advertising turnover, employees and business units of major media, advertising companies and provinces (cities).

3. The latest overseas advertising video: record TV advertisements premiered by TV stations in the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain and Hong Kong on a monthly basis, and provide the video of last month in the same month, which can be purchased at will.
