2. Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology

Department of mechanical engineering has six majors: chemical equipment maintenance technology, welding technology and automation, refrigeration and refrigeration technology, mechatronics technology, automobile inspection and maintenance technology and nondestructive testing technology. Approved by the Social Labor and Social Security Department of Jiangsu Province, the national vocational skill appraisal institute with intermediate, advanced and technician qualifications for refrigeration and air-conditioning maintenance workers can be used for examination and certification of lathe workers, fitters, plumbers, riveters, welders, numerical control, automobile maintenance and other types of work.

There is a mechanical research institute in department of mechanical engineering. In the past two years, all the teaching and research staff have published more than 100 papers in academic journals at home and abroad. In 2004, they undertook more than 65,438+00 technical development, technical services, technical training and technical consulting projects. 3. Department of Architectural Engineering Technology

At present, the Department of Architectural Engineering and Technology offers majors in architectural engineering technology, engineering cost, architectural decoration engineering technology, engineering supervision, architectural decoration/marketing (double majors). The academic system includes three-year higher vocational education after high school, three-year higher vocational education with single recruitment and four-year double majors.

The Department of Architectural Engineering Technology has a strong faculty and a reasonable structure. And hired a group of part-time teachers with rich practical experience. The Department of Building Engineering Technology has a complete range of laboratories with advanced technology and a training center with superior conditions. There are three training centers, 1 building engineering training center, 1 decoration training center, 1 building materials training center, ***30 laboratories and more than 500 sets of experimental equipment. The original value of fixed assets of experimental equipment is more than 3.68 million yuan, and a large number of stable off-campus practice training bases have been established, which has created good conditions for cultivating students' practical ability.

Over the years, the Department of Architectural Engineering and Technology has trained a batch of outstanding graduates for the construction industry, and a considerable number of graduates have now become the main leaders and technical backbones of enterprises. 4. Department of Chemical Engineering Technology

It is one of the longest-running and largest backbone departments of Changzhou Institute of Engineering Technology. Now it has three majors and eight directions: fine chemical production technology, applied chemical technology and polymer material application technology. Among them, the specialty of fine chemical production technology (three-year system) is a provincial specialty in our college, the specialty of fine chemical production technology (five-year system) is the first demonstration specialty in our province, and the specialty of applied chemical technology is a national demonstration specialty of chemical vocational and technical education. The whole department has four teaching levels: three-year higher vocational education after senior high school, four-year higher vocational education after senior high school (double majors), three plus three higher vocational education (single recruit) and five-year higher vocational education after junior high school, which has formed a complete system for cultivating high-skilled and high-tech chemical talents and won a good social reputation. In recent years, the primary employment rate of graduates from various majors in our department has remained above 96%.

The Department of Chemical Engineering and Technology has a high-level faculty with excellent quality, rigorous scholarship and exquisite business. At present, there are more than 40 full-time teachers and part-time teachers 10, of which more than 30% are professors and associate professors, and more than 60% are professional teachers with double-qualified qualifications, and more than half of them have obtained graduate degrees. The Department of Chemical Engineering Technology has first-class experimental and practical teaching instruments and equipment. At present, there are 9 training centers, including chemical simulation operation training center, chemical basic operation skills training center, fine chemical training center, chemical technology training center, polymer material training center, safety technology training center, chemical production (cold mold) training center, chemical design skills training center and so on. And there are chemical operator training and assessment stations authorized by the Provincial Labor and Social Security Department and related plastic processing operator training and assessment stations, among which the chemical operator training station is the only chemical operator technician and senior technician training station in Changzhou.

The Department of Chemical Engineering and Technology attaches great importance to scientific research activities and technology development, actively encourages teachers to participate in project research and technical services, and has successively established research institutions such as Chemical Engineering Research Institute, Fine Chemical Research Institute and Green Technology Research Institute. Teachers actively explore, dare to undertake scientific research projects and participate in technology application research. In the past two years, many scientific research achievements have been made, and many projects such as product development and technical services have won awards or been put into production. Dozens of teaching and research papers have been published in various magazines at all levels, and many of them have won awards in the selection of outstanding papers at the municipal, provincial and national levels.
