Wuxi, referred to as "tin" for short, was called Liangxi and Jingui in ancient times. Because Taibo had no children, Zhou Wuwang set up his fifth grandson and established the State of Wu. Zhang Zhou, a descendant of Taibo, was named post-Anyang, and Yangshan in Huishan District was also called Anyang Mountain. In the third year of Zhou Yuanwang (473 BC), the State of Yue perished, and Wuxi returned to the State of Yue. In the thirty-fifth year of Zhou Xian (334 BC), the State of Chu perished and Wuxi returned to the State of Chu.
