The Historical Evolution of Jiangyin Fortress Experimental Primary School

In Guangxu 3 1 (1905), Huangmei, a local talent of Puxieqiao, founded Qiaopu School with the help of joy chen Temple, with more than 30 students enrolled. After that, the enrollment expanded year by year, and the number of students reached nearly 100 at the peak.

1945, local gentleman Zhong Hanzhong (decorated by Zhong Yajian) and others raised funds to demolish the local theater (Puxie Bridge) and the nearby land temple, and converted it into five schools. 1946 the school moved back to the new school in Congshantang, and was renamed as "Rongdong Town Central Ethnic School in Jiangyin County" with the approval of Jiangyin County Government. The number of students has increased to more than 400, with Daniel lee, Pan Chonghua, Zheng Guo and Jiang Xinyu as principals.

New China was founded 1949, and the school was taken over by the people's government, which is still private in nature. The school was renamed as "Private Rongdong Primary School in Jiangyin County". The county government appointed Wu Xinbao, Pan Siyu and Zhong Guangyao as principals.

1956, the school was officially taken over by Jiangyin County Bureau of Culture and Education, renamed as "Qiaopu Primary School in Jiangyin County", and became a counseling center primary school in Battery District, with primary schools such as Jintong, Weishan, Banqiao and Qiaopu under its jurisdiction. 1996, Qiaopu Village invested more than 800,000 yuan to build a new Qiaopu primary school in Tianhe Community.
