Who are Yue Fei's teachers?

1. Zhou Dong (Zheng Shizhou Jitong, about1040-119) is recognized as Yue Fei's first teacher.

First of all, there is a lack of detailed records about Master Yue Fei in history. Generally speaking, Zhou Dong (about1040-1119) is recognized as Yue Fei's first teacher. Zhou Dong was born in Tongguan, Huazhou (now Xi, Shaanxi). At the end of the Northern Song Dynasty, Zhou Dong, a martial arts master, was very famous. Because he was born in Shaanxi today, he is called "Zhou Dong, the iron arm of Shaanxi Warriors", which can be said to be very famous. Then, some people will ask, Yue Fei was born in tangyin county, Henan, and Zhou Dong was from Shaanxi. So how did these two people meet? At this point, it is said that Zhou Dong was a guest in the shogunate of Liu Guangshi in his later years, and the Liu Guangshi army was stationed in Henan.

Second, Zhou Dong made an exception and accepted Yue Fei as an apprentice. By confronting Yue Fei, he passed on what he had learned.

According to historical records, Liu Guangshi is also a famous anti-gold star, tied with Yue Fei as the "Four Generals of Zhongxing". In Song Huizong, Liu Guangshi was ordered to suppress the rebels in Hubei, Henan and Anhui, and was appointed as the deputy head of the "Ma bu" or horse stance just look stationed in Yanyan Road. As a staff member of Liu Guangshi, Zhou Dongnian happened to be in tangyin county, Henan. For Zhou Dong in his later years, he no longer accepted his apprentice. However, seeing that Yue Fei's family was poor, she also learned sand painting and writing under the guidance of her mother-in-law, so she made an exception and accepted Yue Fei as a disciple, teaching what she had learned, including the method of arranging troops.

3. When Yue Fei 16 years old, Zhou Tong died, and Yue Fei took Chen Guang as his teacher.

When Yue Fei was a teenager, he was heavy-hearted, taciturn and often negative in ethics. I like reading books such as Zuo's Spring and Autumn Annals and Sun Wu's Art of War. After becoming Zhou Dong's apprentice, Yue Fei learned to ride a horse and shoot an arrow, and he can draw a bow left and right. Unfortunately, however, Zhou Tong died in119, that is, Yue Fei 16 years old. After his master died of illness, Yue Fei set up a shack beside his curtain and held a wake from winter until March of the following year. Moreover, Yue Fei goes to the grave to pay homage every year on the first and fifteenth day. Later, Yue Fei worshipped Chen Guang as a teacher and learned the method of sword and gun, because he was born with divine power and was guided by a famous teacher, and his martial arts could be described as "invincible in one county".

Fourthly, in the storytelling of Ming and Qing Dynasties, Zhou Dong was called the first master of the Water Margin.

Finally, there are not many records about Zhou Dong in the history books, that is, he only recorded his deeds of accepting Peng Yue as a local apprentice, while Zhou Dong's romantic image was mostly processed by folk art. In the storytelling of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Zhou Dong was called the first master of the water margin, and accepted Yu Qilin, Lu Junyi, Lin Chong, Shi Wengong and others as disciples. However, in the eyes of many historians, the fact that Zhou Dong took Lu Junyi, Lin Chong and Shi Wengong as disciples has yet to be verified, and there is also controversy in academic circles, that is, there is no conclusive historical data to support it.
