Bai Bao railway line was built at 1954- 1956. The line leads from Baotou Railway Hub, goes north along the west bank of Kundulun River, passes through five mountains, such as Daqingshan and Baoershan, and enters Baiyun Obo mining area. The mountains along the line are steep, the land is vast and sparsely populated, windy and rainy, cold and air-cooled, and rich in resources. This is an undeveloped treasure in the north.
