The optimized cross saw design in the market realizes the functions of simultaneous measurement and sawing on the basis of mechatronics through special program design, brand selection of electronic control part and related mechanical structure. The process flow is as follows:

1 After the machine is started, optimize it according to the specifications in the customer list, and save the optimization results. The optimization range of the whole wood length is: the list specifications are arranged as X 1 and X2…X20 from large to small. At this time, the optimization range of wood length is X 1+Y 1 (the length distance from the diseased fluorescence sensor to the saw blade mouth) -Y2 (the braking length distance of the feed servo motor) to X20. The purpose of optimization is to obtain the optimal sawing result (maximum) of any length within the optimization range of wood length according to the list specification.

2. The feed servo motor drives the wood to enter the sawing area through the measuring station. The diffuse reflection sensor and morbid fluorescence sensor on the measuring station respectively detect the fluorescence lines on the head and tail of the wood and record the feedback value of the encoder of the current feed servo motor. When the distance from the sensor to the kerf is known, the wood length (including the fluorescence lines and the length from the tail of the wood to the kerf) is judged with the kerf as the reference point (after the wood is cut). If the length is known, find out the optimization result corresponding to the length within the optimization length range and cut it; If the length is unknown (fluorescence line and wood tail are not detected), the wood will continue to advance until the maximum optimized length of X 1+Y 1 (the distance from the diseased fluorescence sensor to the kerf length) -Y2 (the braking length distance of the feed servo motor), and the length of X 1 will be cut out.
